My Octavia "blipped" when locked/unlocked.

My Fabia doesn't but I can get hold of VCDS so may add this myself

So do all fabia's do it ?, if yes why dont they set car up as you want it? So I've got to go back to stealers to set this up!

Very nice, many years ago I had a cooperS in exactly that colour combo.

Looks very nice but I'd have thought white wheels would be a nightmare to clean. Just make sure you use a good sealent on them.

Wonder if they do that IRC badge in black so you can see in on a white vRS

Was wondering the same thing as ive ordered a candy white vrs and that would look good in black :p , bit silly to leave it white on a white car

Update

The vRS went back to the dealer today to have the armrest fitted. While dropping it off I asked the Tech if he could put the locking/unlocking beep on via the dealer software, he said he would have a look and see what he could do.

Picked it up around 4pm, the armrest was in and the locking/unlocking beep was active, what a legend!

So true, I can't help but watch them every time I start up!

Is it just the vrs that dies the staging or does all fabia's do this like the beeping locking?

Not 100% mate in all honesty, I've only seen vRS's do it but "MAYBE" it could be coded on Vagcom?

Well I did say I wouldn't modify this one, 2 days into owning it and the mods have started

First mod was a simple one, dealer sticker removed :

Next up was to change the aerial to the stubby off my old Ibiza :

And finally change the nasty yellow OEM bulbs that don't match the LED DRL/Side lights to white ones!

Will get some more photos of the headlight bulbs when it gets dark outside. Will also have to start a blog as a project thread!

does the stubby aerial work just as-well??

Just been out in it and Radio 1, 3 Counties & Heart work perfectly

The stubby aerial looks good and the lights good 100% better very nice mods :thumbup:

I will ask a Skoda tech next week to see if he can code it

OK as promised here are the pics of the bulbs at night, they compliment the LEDs perfectly I think
