I've been folowing a few separate threads on this, but does anyone have a definitive answer.

I want one. I know that it uses the 2.0FSI turbo lump from the new Golf V GTi. I know that it is out "Late 2005" and can guestimate the pricing based on the Golf and Octavia VRS pricing structure.

What I can't find are any photos, any Skoda UK information, any details whatsoever, in fact.

It is being launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March, so there must be some to display.

Don't think there's anything new...I heard end of year so I guess you won't see anything until Spetember and the Frankfurt show.

Apparently Skoda are keen to build on their WRC programme....not that you get to see them on the box .......and tha tthe new RS is going to suprise a few people....what ever that means.

Maybe not, in which case I could end up going for the Golf V GTi or maybe (gulp) the new Focus 2.5ST or Civic Type-R....

225bhp 2.0T due out in December 2005 - is what I hear. No info on prices or even a sneak-peak at one yet.

The very plain and simple facts are these :

1. Nobody REALLY knows what engine it will have

2. Nobody REALLY knows what it will cost

3. Nobody REALLY knows when it's coming out.

And when it finally does come out it probably wont have the engine we expect, it will probably be

No it's not. Those are shots that have been bandied about ever since the Octy II came out. They're from the 'secret' styling page on the Skoda UK site. All those body modifications are currently available for Octy II owners to glue onto their new Octy II.

Correct.The brochure for these add ons is actually in the showrooms alongside the octyII brochure with these pics in.Picked one up yesterday.Nice bits of kit though

Just seen the paperwork at my local Skoda dealer for the new OCTAVIA "SPORT"

150bhp petrol engine with 17" alloys and some of the vRS features.......
