Well we've been Sharked today and must say that Ben is a professional and really nice guy. Maps not bad either! I hope everyone in this group buy has as good an experience as we did. Try and be patient if your waiting for the STS, it's worth it.

So what's the difference in your car then? Mine is petrol so will be slightly different but it's the same principle

I know everyone says it but the map really is smooth. The car always was smooth anyway but it just is more so now. It's not agressive in acceleration but nice and progressive and in the higher gears you can feel the extra torque, i think this is where the difference is between petrol and diesel having mapped a few petrol cars in the past, its more in your face (if you know what i mean) with harder acceleration. I think you are going to have some fun.

So you must be at 200+bhp now. Any idea of your torque figure?

I'm afraid he was too concerned that his 100,000 mile Golf might not be up to the job having

just had to fork out for a recon gearbox which had recently exploded!

He's decided to change his car for a different (new one) and will get that mapped instead.

He'll miss the group buy but that's his loss eh.

Its in the region of 410NM and its very noticable in 6th. I must again praise the quality of the map as ive had maps before (on other cars) that have given the feeling that the drive train is being tortured. None of this here.

Spent the day visiting and enjoying the roads around Bakewell, Buxton, Castelton and have had a chance now to explore the map ----- and it is good

Got the old girl remapped yesterday as part of this group buy, managed to pick up a STS off ebay for £40, so pleased with that (spoke to Ben first and he knew the last owner)

I wont write a full review of Bens maps as there are plenty on here, just a quick summery to get you moist-

Mk2 Octavia vrs 2.0 TFSI petrol stage 1 - when does the power stop coming? smooth all the way through! no need to change gears to over take! and same mpg's as before.

Big grin all the way home and lastnight when it got a propper spanking :rofl: top lad and product :thumbup: and by-god he's a busy boy, he is working very hard and looking stressed, so bear with him and be patient, its well worth it.
