I have a certified age of 46, I have a mental age of 12, I drive my Superb SE Plus like I stole it, I am lowering it, I am having it sharked, I like motorbikes, MX-5's, large jiggly breasts, am workin

I am 59 and have been driving a Skoda Superb Hatch 170 CR tdi since March 2009. Have covered nearly 50K miles and just ordered a replacement Combi 4x4 170CR tdi. I chose another Superb as nothing come close in terms of value for money and space. Others do not know what they are missing.

I'm David. I'm 39, and I picked up my first Skoda Superb (in fact my first Skoda) today!

I turn 40 in a few months and decided I wanted to treat myself to a new car. I've spent the last 15 months looking at options (I'm a Civil Servant, we like to plan) and during that time I've test driven everything from Land Rover to Lexus. Been through the Mercs, the Beemers, the Audis, the Jags, plus all the "mainstream" brands. Considered SUVs, MPVs, Coupes, Cabriolets, Saloons, Hatches, the lot.

In the end it came down to some simple truths. I'm by no means an old fart. I want a car that looks good and purposeful and delivers strong performance as well. But I'm not a boy racer either and some of these cars just try to hard these days. I don't want to be shaken to bits by rock hard suspension over every bump, and I really couldn't care less if its 3 seconds faster around the Nurburgring than its competitors.

Also, I'm a big lad. I'm over 6ft and I'm.....generously.... built. In most cars that means people can't really sit comfortably behind me.

Then I found the Superb. It looks great without shouting about it, its got more toys than a branch of Hamleys, the 2.0TDI(170) engine I have pulls like a train, and with the seat in my driving position even I can sit behind myself.

Its a no brainer. I picked up my Elegance Estate this morning.

I couldn't be happier driving it at 39, and if they had been making them at 21 (and if I could have afforded it) I'd have had one then.

41 years young and driving a Superb 2009.

It's not an old mans car, it's a smart mans car. B)

30, my first Skoda is my current Superb 200 TSI (2.0 TSI) DSG Elegance. Ordered it Dec, 2010 and got it delivered in March, 2011 :)

Well done. You will not be sorry. A great car!!

I'm 35 having a 170 CR Ambition, previously owned for 5 years an 131PD Superb 2007 (facelift)

It was a great car, and this new one (three week old) is driving like a charm.

Im Paso and i am a skodaholic...Picking up my 3 month old 140 DPF DSG 11 plated black magic SE PLUS and im 2 years short of 60 and i ride Dragbikes and think im 19

This is my first Superb and i'm 27.

I think you'll miss the Octy , I'm 42 and own a superb but drive my wifes VRS Octy all the time leaving the Superb for her

I Doubt it, it's broken down on me 4 times this year and cost my firm about £3K to keep fixing it!

I'm 24 & just ordered a Elegance 140 DSG 4x4 estate. Had the choice of any car I wanted and the Superb was the best all rounder, would have loved the A6 S Line 3.0 TDi Quattro but it's just the wrong image. The only thing is the lead time.

Swmbo is 18 and absolutely loved the demo car i got for the weekend, i think she is more excited about delivery than i am.

I do feel the car has a older image and I think a nice VRS version could help this.

57 when driving the present Skoda daily driver.

18 when having fun in the MX5 at the weekend.

Also 18 when playing cricket on a Saturday.

But 57 when the legs are seized up on a Monday morning.

I'm 34 and took delivery of my 2 year old elegance 4x4 last week.

33 and just traded my merc c class for a superb 170 dsg elegance. The skoda dealer loved it, another german scalp for his desk!!

Nearly bought another c class but couldn't go through with it and saw the light. Kept getting calls from the Mercedes saleman asking if I would like to come back to his showroom and talk numbers again. I told him I had bought a skoda superb, the phone went silent!!

He hasn't called me since.

My wife has a fabia 1.9 tdi sport. This is really nice also, she is 18!!

Hiya children......I'm 64 and like another young man on here I ride a motorbike, tow a caravan, have a small boat with outboard (but not all at the same time.....) and generally enjoy life.

Age is but a number - you drive what you like, for reasons personal to you and try not to force your preferences on others.....easy to say I know! I have three lovely daughters (26, 29 & 30 yrs old) who laughed at me when I said I was interested in changing my VW Tiguan for a Kia Sportage (the 7-year warranty is such a bonus) - but when I said I'd changed my mind and ordered a Skoda Superb Elegance, they said they were glad to see I'd come to my senses.......

This will be my first ever Skoda after having had Mercs, Volvos and VWs......I am so impressed with what I've seen so far....hope the reality is as good when it comes.

John

28, and receive my first Skoda within two weeks...!!!!

46, wife 46, children 46...no, not really: 17,14 and 8

I ride a BMW C1 ("look, ma: no helmet!") to work, fly gliders for fun, and as an excuse to take the Superb for a spin
