Don't forget to take a look at http://www.checkyourspeed.org.uk before you go. St. Lawrence Road (A466) is marked down as one of their mobile camera sites.

Yep - the mobile unit is often on the right just after the 2nd roundabout - and its got lots of locals! - esp active on weekends -beware!

Thanks guys.

Des

Just received the entry list and starting order , all the Skodas are grouped together , numbers 46-51 .

Who is which number? And who is actually going?

im going whats my number i left before the postman this morning

OK

Number 46 - Jon and Jason

Number 47 - Colin and Nick

Number 48 - Des and Quinten

Number 49 - Me and Mark

Number 50 - Stuart and Wendy

Number 51 - Paul and Ian

Our start time is 10.18 .

So - the ultimate co-driver gets the chance to impress / throw up before everyone else. :D

Any plans for a quick stop over in Swansea on the way back from the final circuit..? If so, I'll try and remember the best pub with the most amount of parking space.

cool so I get a lye in?

and to watch everybodys time.. just like f1 qualifying?

What start number are Jonathan & Julie Goss? Silver Subaru wagon.

So, I start at 10:15 then :D

I assume Jason is leaving his storage vehicle at the pub all day. Good if you are, somewhere to leave all the crap out of mine :D

The ultimate co-drive had better remember his glasses!

Anyone bringing a PMR?

sorry to be a PITA but whats SiHortons start no... he is in greece so will text it to him:D ?

Si is coming? Damn, better get some "Engine by Cadburys" stickers made up for him :D

i hope we will all be sporting briskoda stickers for the run, to promote the site and to let the world know where to learn more about the "Mighty Skoda":D

I think the Huntsman shall be the best place to leave my motor, so I don't mind it being used as a storage unit for the duration of the tour. And, yes, I'll be bringing my glasses, and Dad's digital beast too hopefully - I only hope I don't bust it.. :(

I guess I'd better stick the parcel shelf in then, to prevent any nosey Welsh scum peeping in and fancying a go at a smash & grab... (no offence to Welsh people, its just that's where we'll be...) I may bring along my steering lock too... hasn't been used since I left Swansea.

Jon , Gossy is number 42

Paul , SiHorton is not on the entry list - must be a late entry , so I presume he will be somewhere after number 54 - which is the last number on the entry list .

or he has screwed the entry form up...... maybe it broke in the post...;)

Ooooh, getting nervous now.... I better go practising my tulip reading... or was it eating....?

I must admit I'm feeling a certain level of anticipation. 1) because I've never "raced" before - OK ok, I've had a go with my own car sometimes, but you know what I mean! PROPER racing! and 2) I'm buying a sub off Des so my car will be bangin' away soon! :speaker:

Jason

It's not a race.

Anyone got a camera mount they can lend me.

Des

Borrow mine for your runs if you want, we can swap it if I get back before you leave or possibly borrow Gossy's as he is far enough ahead for us to be able to swap them over

And don't forget Jason, I drive like a granny

Oh and :

Free Grand!

Time to go now methinks!

:D

free grand?

where?

as in, one two free fore? That would be perfect to get my car going better.

PS: While I think about it... Is that full face helmet reserved for me, Jon? Anything else useful you think I should perhaps bring along. I'm totally useless so I may leave myself at home.

Also - Paul - you asked for a reminder... DVD ROM drive? My bank was credited today with my salary, so I'm loaded, for a while...
