Sounds exactly like a new wiper motor, 3 Months is a record though WOW!

all this trouble with rear wipers, buy a Greenline and your rear wiper will never fail, coz you don't get one

my cars less than 3 months old and ive got the same problem, rear wiper stuck in the middle of the screen, think its going to have to be a trip down to the dealers

Yeah deffo rear wiper motor failure I just had my brothers replaced on his vrs due to it failing, his car is only 6 months old. My brother also had his boot locking mechanism replaced too due it being damaged by the water getting into it from the failed wiper motor.

My Octavia Estate is 07 and 168000 miles, now the rear wiper stopped in middle.

Any tip for cheaper new motor, please?
