Just been watching 5th Gear with one vs the BMW, think you certainly made the right choice. I have a OctvRS and am thinking of changing, lads at work think the Boxster shld be next but "head" says need a new kitchen and the new vRS whever it appears!

Thanks for the positive replies everyone, looking forward to some get togethers this year which i'll still be coming along to unless you all tell me i can't!!!!!

i've still got my vRS,trying to sell it but don't seem to having much luck.

the Boxster S is fantastic, its such a different feeling driving with no roof, its gonna be tough getting used to it!!!!!

i'm sure you'll manage, some how

Nice one Alex....been thinking about ones of these myslef but SWMBO won't sanction it...no place for kiddies. :(

Looks luvverly :D

/Optimistic mode on

Want to swap Alex ??

/Optimistic mode off

Thought not :(

Alex you could always have a raffle - lets see your looking for 9k for the vrS there are over 5,000 members in Briskoda so that works out at...........

2quid a ticket allowing 20p per ticket towards running costs for briskoda.

Sounds far too easy dunnit - bound to be some legal schmollocks to fubar it - just a thought

PS - Love the Porsche

Niiiiice! :cool::cool::cool:

Am open to reasonable offers on the Octy everyone...........

slow in .... fast out... no hedge experiments...

Cracking car.

Serious question, does it make the vRS feel slow?

God I miss open top motoring even if mine was an escort cabriolet :(

Nice car :) I bet it corners beautifuly.

I miss open top driving too, i just sold my ragtop jeep but hadnt driven it for over a year as it fell into disrepair. It maxed out at 65mph but the combination of 'experimental' steering, leaf spring suspension and all round drum brakes made it quite an exciting drive!

I remember going along a narrow leafy lane once and having to get close to the side as a car unexpectedly came round a blind bend, then when i next looked around there was half a tree sat on my passenger seat! Happy days

Alex

I am looking for a Boxster to replace my octy to, just havent found the right car yet. They look really good in silver, although I also think they look good in met. blue.

I dont think I can afford one that new though, or even an S.

Stunning car. I love the Boxster, but it's still no 911 ;)

Well i got mine from an OPC(Official Porsche Center)so i know i paid more than going private or from a Specialist but as its my 1st Porsche i wanted to have the whole experience and piece of mind.

i had looked at quite a few but i wanted a specific high spec car which this is,so am well pleased.

you can get a Boxster S for

Lovely car mate,

Now if it was next year and the new Vrs hadn't come out then I may be ripping your hand off for the Octy, shame

Good luck with selling it anyway

you can get a Boxster S for
