Fabia Xenon Headlights (Official Group Buy)

Featured Replies

I`v found the projectors to dim down the blue-ness personally. My old H7 HID kit was 6K and quite blue, too much so, I wanted more white so was going to get 4.3K until my mate convinced me to get 6K`s again, he has OEM ones and said he would swap if I didnt want them. I`m glad I did, dont look as blue as my last ones at all. I *might* drop to 5K`s if I can find them, but i`m pretty happy for now.

On the left is my new 6k`s. On the right is my mates OEM xenons 4.3K, although near side headlight is a brand spanking new one, offside is a older one (still OEM though).

I`m not sure I agree with the theory of spending £200 on a seat of flash lights and then moan about £30 for some film to protect them. :D I used lamin-x on my rear lights and it was to stuff, nice and thick perfect to save the lights from stone chips.

  • Well, I've had a fedex missed delivery note left in my porch, so the lights must be here Just wish they'd left the boxes in the porch like every other courier does.

  • All passed no problems

I've got the car mod shop 43k ones and they are really white, very happy with them

This is the stuff ive ordered and used before aswell. Its same thickness of lamin-x and is decent. It also arrived inside of a week aswell.

Right! Just a heads up but don't buy this! It's basically turd! Has loads of bubble marks in it when it arrives that seem to stay in the "sticky" part of the film. Funny really as I thought it was stuff I'd had before but after investigation, it wasn't! Think I'll get onto lamix x and order some decent stuff.

just wondering if you could update the picture as i would like to see what these exactly look like as i a interested in also buying a pair

many thanks

Now that I've seen these on a silver car I am totally sold! Please tell me someone can arrange another group buy.

Hi Mattie,

Noticed you live in Leicester, whats the possibility of seeing your car? I want these but I just want to see them in action before I commit.

Yeah more than welcome. Whereabouts are you in Leicester? We could probably meet up in the next couple of days if you like.

I've PM'd you.

Well, mine are here and they look great. However I don't see how the back covers fit? They seem about 5mm too high to be able to click in and the weird cylinder shaped protrusion next to each clip on top seems to stop it going underneath. Have people just forced them on??

Yeah they are uber tight, but they go on. I had to take one back off too! lol, was hard work, nothing broke though.

theyre really tight but i used a flat blade screwdriver to help so i didnt break the clips.

Just use your muscles lol

Right folks, I'm going to be returning my drivers side unit for a replacement.

Having looked at this again and again, I'm now certain that it's not right.

The cut-off on the top of the passenger side is nice and sharp, however the cut-off on the drivers side is pretty blurred and has a really yellow tinge to it.

I can only conclude that the light isn't quite in focus. I've triple checked the bulb positioning and even swapped them over side-to-side yet still get the same problem.

The light output on the road from the right side also doesn't seem as focussed on the road.

Anyone else having this issue?

Sorry to hear that, I've had no issues myself fortunately. Hopefully all goes well with the replacement

Ive just noticed this tonight, my drivers side is yellow aswell. When I first got them the cut off was fine, but TBH it cant be noticed when driving on the road and I cant be bothered sending them back for the second time.

  • 2 weeks later...

Has anyone had an MoT with these fitted yet?

Got mine booked in for Monday. Fingers crossed :)

Strangely after removing and refitting my driver's side, the yellow bleed on on the cut-off has disappeared. Seems as sharp as the left now.

Not had ad MoT, but when I had them aligned the mechanic said that they would pass no problem. Also commented how great they looked, and the quality seemed good. You'll be fine I'm sure

Had my MOT last week, safe as houses! My passengers side bulb some how got plastic on it and was burning, Think the bulb wasn't sat in correctly because my plastic bayonet fitting was labelled upside down, but it still passed anyway.

Well, car is in the garage awaiting an MoT.

Fingers crossed :)

Mines mot'd with them no probs

All passed no problems :)
