And the general surprise from people who get in it.

Very under estimated by many until they experience a drive.

I do love Vrs Seats...

Though I think its the rear end, big ass, twin pipes and a decent size spoiler.

In fact I think its the colour, race blue!

3. Paul007 - it shifts

Or a Ford

The look on a BMW driver's face when left a long way behind ! (which is almost the same as Paul007)

Destroying Focus ST's, Astra VXR's and GTI's; keeping up with Focus RS's and Audi S4's :)

+1 to jonno. Bear in mind ours are tuned of course.

The boot!

My car on a charity run.

I love the unique and special club you join as soon as you own one, reminds me of my biking days :)

I like the fact that I cannot aford a good car so have had to settle for a Skoda. :giggle:

Boot Space ... Gerroff my laaaand !

Bloomin acres of it :)

i love the build quality yet how easy it is to take apart and put back together(ive always had jap cars that fall to pieces after 3 pot holes)

3rd gear

Another vote for the boot here

You probably could have bought an RS6 with all the plumbing you had done to the Octavia :p

mix of the size of the boot and the economy after coming from a turbo bora

a cavernous boot that you couldnt get anything big into because of the opening and average of 28.5 mpg over the last 3000 miles that i had it.

would say the octys boots bigger and easy to get stuff in and 43mpg is a hell of a difference

It's great all round and lots of gadgets to play with. Hard to think of a single point but a good balance of strong performance and economy springs boringly to mind.

Also, too many things to pick out one point:

the oomph from the 1.8 TSi engine, almost at any speed and any gear (almost!)

the ginormous boot, especially when back seats down and shelf removed - I call it my truck

the incredibly easy to clean finish - Cappuchino. Hardly shows dirt, and when it does it removes so easily

comfortable insides, especially in extremes of weather - quick to warm, quick to cool.

the great rear parking sensors - I seem to get into spaces smaller than the car (okay, so what's a few dents!!)

I could go on....but I won't!

Yes yes! Thanks for the reminder. :finger:;)

Its 1000 times better than the crappy old rwd estelle that my old man drove at my age...

My 40+ mpg driving around town...or should that be sitting in traffic jams ! :giggle:
