What will replace your Fabia?

Featured Replies

Im starting to miss having power again and another motorbike is a no-no.

For the first time ever, I have been getting pretty sensible insurance quotes on evos

Just wondering if anyone has ideas of swapping their fabia?

Whats in the pipeline?

ditto evo 7rs lol

Just changed from an old Furby Elegance to a Mk2 vRS, so with that and the bike in the garage I'm quite content at present, or at least until Summer when I may look at a remap.

Japanese and 4wd. Prob evo x fq360

That said, if I still have this car after 3 years ill be looking at ripping the whole interior out for good and cageing it and using it as a pure track day toy. Lets see how reliable she is first though

evo 10 hopefully.

anything with a fair bit of power that insurane companies wont want my soul for as al be around 21/22 when im getting rid of this.

but like everyone else something jap and 4x4 although a tasty s2000 or supra would do

Audi RS1 when it appears would do it for me.

hopefully the next clio if i can hold out maybe even the renault sport version emoticon-0111-blush.gif

Id happily trade it in for another mini

I've already got a 170bhp Diesel 4x4 Yeti on order, due to arrive early March.

But I've got a Fabia Greenline II, not the VRS mkII.

Already have a VRS mkI which I love, and a lightning quick Nissan.

I only tend to go for petrol if it's very rapid as I am a diesel fan.

I think the Yeti will make a nice work car and change after the Fabia. Plus it's VERY well specced up. B)

VisionD for me, saving up to get the best I possibly can afford all the toys with the petrol engine this time I think ;)

fabia monte carlo 1.6tdi then probably get a remap

The only thing that looks remotely interesting at the moment for me is an Edition 30 DSG Golf GTI. :)

Great engine but looks boring. I can never tell the difference between most golfs, just boring looking imo. Now an S3 on the other hand....

That's exactly what I like about it. Subtle does it every time for me :)

I wouldn't say the S3 is either an eye-catcher. Lots of power ok, but then If your complaint on the vRS is the look, then an S3 woulnd't make a huge difference in that area. It would still look like an A3 to most people, and people that can actually distinguish an S3, proably can distinguish a vRS from a simple Fabia too... I say this because I saw an S3 the other day and I had to look carefully around the car (I was looking at it from the side) in order to make sure it was an S3 and not an A3.

I also think I will move to something Japanese and I love BossFox's car :giggle: Although I'm still so very much happy with the vRS, still in love, I always give it a second look after locking it and walking away from its parking place  Especially after a quick drive I feel so satisifed that I chose it and have it in my "garage".

+1000 One thing I will miss about the vRS If/When I change from it, will be the stealth factor. It's unbelievable and extremely entertaining how wrong it proves other drivers on the road as it is. I wouldn't dare to think how much more fun it will be when/If remapped. That is actually my biggest temptation to move to a remap. I don't really need the extra power as I can rarely push the car at its limits where I live. But the funny looks on other people's faces when they will see me going past them is worth the cost... :D

Seems that way.

Maybe bump into one or two of you at a future Mitsubishi Lancer Register (MLR) event.

The GTROC meet up a few times a year with them for 30-130/top speed events, track days etc...

Make sure you Evo lovers keep the same user names haha!

Depends how well this off shore milarky goes for me to get an Evo though, if not I'll be keeping the vRS and modding the crap out of it.

I'm thinking either an RS5 or the A5 3.0TDI Quattro S Line + S Tronic.

I'll have to see how good a year 2012 is before I look at ordering.

itll be something small and nippy again for me, maybe the mk3 vrs

Having just replaced my mk1 fabia vrs with a Edition30 i would say get one :-) I went for a manual though, its a pretty special car :-)

2011 Fiesta Titanium replaced my Monte Carlo

I would love to replace it with an Octavia combi by BT but that will never happen. :p

Having only got my 1.6tdi 105 Monte three weeks ago, I'm not looking at replacing it any time soon. But I would imagine something German or Japanese when I do.
