Am I the only one hoping for rain then? Wet tracks usually level the playing field somewhat because cars with lots of horsepower can't get the power down etc...

and some of us (you) probably have significant wet weather track experience. ;)

It now seems it is going to be raining earlier but might clear. I still think it will be a wet track though, regardless of whether its raining at the time or not. Can only hope its only a light shower first thing and the track is just "mildly moist" at top gear put it.

Just to clarify what time is everyone arriving there for?

I only live about an hour away and need to know what time to set my alarm for ;)

Ohh and on the weather front its really nice outside at the moment. Just wash polished and waxed the vRS in prep for tomorrow :) reduce the drag ;)

Im hoping its gonna stay dry and be like this tomorrow (looks at sky with fingers crossed)

Our session starts at 10am, with 30 minutes to get sorted and signed on before the briefing at 10:30am.

I plan to arrive around 9:30 to 9:45am.

Me too. I am only 45 miles away so leaving around 8.45am as its a fairly quick journey down to Bedford.:) Straight down the A6 which is a quick road when quiet.

I'm in Bedford now. So only a 10 min drive in the morning :)

Just found this on the MSV regs would seem passengers ARE allowed

Passengers

Only one passenger may be carried in the vehicle at any one time. All fitted safety devices must be able to perform within their manufacturers guidelines i.e. weight and height of passenger must not interfere or prevent such safe operation within the manufacturers design parameters. Passengers under the age of 18 must have the appropriate section of the Registration Form signed by their parent or legal guardian. In any case the minimum age for passengers is 14 yrs except at Bedford Autodrome where the minimum age for passengers is 16 yrs.

Just noticed on the rules it's no refueling or storing fuel in the pit lane or garages.

Think I'd better stick a few extra gallons in tonight...

They have fuel, it's just looks like you can't take your own and refuel in the pits.

Which was my plan as I don't use cheapo diesel. V power only. :)

Oh, and we are meeting by a petrol station. :)

I was going to grab a sandwich for later.

I have enough for the day- about £30 worth in there. :)

I don't have a spare hook though. You're welcome to use mine as if anything happens with mine (doubt it will) I will just get the towing vehicle to put the tow rope around the base of the strut brace...
