cheers thats just saved me a few hours of going through emails lol.

Just out of interest but does anyone know what the layout of the track is like for filming or picture taking? My mate wants to come to practise action shots.

If you watch the video of the track, it doesn't seem to show spectator areas like at regular tracks.

So it could be pits only.

I've just realised its an anti clockwise circuit - not clockwise like you would usually see? :)

I also forgot to ask what the deal is with passengers as I'd be happy to take someone out for one of the taster / warm up sessions, if I can accompany you on one of yours? (my car will need 15 mins on, 15 mins off anyway :D)

You might be able to teach me a thing or twenty, Jase, but I may have to lever your fingernails from the dash before you could get out

I'd be up for some of that Jase

whats the score then, aint followed this thread for a while

i paid etc but aint done anything else, what forms r u guys talking about?

got a cracked alloy so might just give it a miss, if i do come ill have to keep pumping my tyre up all the time

Thats not a bad idea, all our cars are going to need some colling down time on and off. I dont mind taking a passenger and learning a thing or two/

You can only really take photos from the SW end of the pit lane unfortunately, or cross the pit lane and take some of cars going along the straight in front of the pitlane.

IIRC they take everyone across the track on an access road at the start of the session then it's closed for the session so you can't get "out" of the central pit area until the session finishes.

What wheels are you running? I have a spare spider with a Goodyear on it

The forms are just the indemnity forms

Gunna give this a miss, if anyone wants my slot and can do the name change etc they can have it for free

Spoke to MSV today re spectating. It's £10 per person & as Jamie says, there's not much in the way of spectator facilities!!

So if anyone is just coming to watch Brisky, it's £5 per hour!

Cheers for that from both of you

I might contact MSV and see what the area is like. My mate needs practise for change of profession reasons. He came along to Castle Combe and wants to attend this one.

I'm sure many of us would like to see our cars blasting round if he is taking pictures! :)

I'm sure one of us would like to see his car touring briskly round if he is taking pictures! :)

(Have just amended where required to suit myself)

+1

My girlfriend is wanting to come watch, I hope that doesn't mean she'll need to pay £5 an hour??

I asked if entrance was per car or per person, he said per person. That's all I know!

That's really tight of them to charge if you ask me

yep dont like the sound of this now tbh

It's probably to discourage lots of spectators, as it's not that type of event and there are minimal facilities.

That track is not used for general track days IIRC, it's mainly just for special events.

Having said that though it was £12 for the Action Day on Saturday and everyone seemed to be fine with that that just went along to watch...
