The Twins. (And Yeti RS)

It wasn't going to be long before this got on Pistonheads! The reviewer of the new L&K Diesel Yeti has done a paragraph on what they know and they want to do a feature on it!

Yes, Dan Trent (who wrote that) was at Brands Hatch last November when a dozen of us from Briskoda went to a track day.

They were doing something on a Clio Cup car and watched me wizzing around.

Nice work Richard, it does appear to be setting a few more tongues wagging

Now, where's the bloody Citigo

Pot, kettle ring any bells sunshine

Lol - brave putting your real name Lee :)

All quiet on the Yeti front - next track day booked?

I can put some miles in the gtr if you get stuck :)

Look forward to seeing it in action again!

I keep thinking about buying the 4wd system you have lying about for the Touran...

Good old yeti :)

...

Plus in four weeks the R34 might turn up

...

Another one?? Whats that, the 3rd or 4th?  :x

We all know and love that you're a bit bonkers, but that is just silly.

... almost as silly as buying every FGF out there

Quietly confident (which probably means it'll be wrong! :D) that that will see the Yeti RS with a full tank of juice break under the 1,250kg mark... 100kg less than it is now.

Which was my weight goal.

Isn't it going to beat the CitiNoShow in power/weight ratio? I think the citigo will be a disappointment after the Yeti.

The Citigo will be a complete different animal. The gearbox is what will make the car come together as a whole.

3rd or 4th Skyline or GT-R?

Technically 3rd and 6th I think but I don't still own them all so it's kind of fine. :whew:

Fantasy Green Nissan Stagea next?

No, I've bought a Fiesta Cup spec Fiesta ST 2.0 N.A and am going racing once I get my National B license.

That's my next focus.

But probably best left for another thread.  If anyone cares and isn't fed up of my rambling. :D

No it is a Fiesta , not a Ford Focus.

Now that's a thread I want to read!

Do post about it if/when you get time!

+1

It was in his Fiesta thread if I remember correctly, glad to see the final 5% has come along Richard!

Tomorrow I will probably start a new thread about the car when I get it (more pics!) and waffle about me attempting to go racing and we will see if I can actually drive or it's just good to turn up with fancy toys. :D

Should be quite a learning experience.

Will take a while to do the ARDS test, get the car ready and get it on track though.

Anyway, I'll leave that for tomorrow night.

If you need someone to stand around with an umbrella on the grid, or someone to make the tea, i'm your man! :-)

A quick question if may Richard - I think I recall a conversation between us just over (?) a year or so ago about track time and how much you can do until you're classed as a 'semi' pro rather than just some nut job hooning around a track - this test that you're on about, if my memory is correct does that then mean that you can't just go for a 'blast' you've around a track but you'll get pipped against more like for likes?

Or am I completely making some fictitious conversation up  :S  AND.............

.............. how many track toys have you got now (and coming)? It's BossFox Racing  :D  and will you be changing your name to Sir Frank Williams
