I've recently noticed my wife always has slightly higher oil temperatures when driving our VRS. The highest I think i've had our temperature at the end of a run is around 89 degrees with my wife around 91. I'd say i'd expect about 86 on a normal run, is this similar to everyone elses? This car seems to take quite a while to build heat, but once it's hot it really cooks. I'd be interested to hear everyone else's experiences?

Mine sits at 85/86 even as low as 84 on a steady run at 60mph. hitting 70mph creeps up to 87/88. But after a bit of fun the highest i have seen it is 93.

90 ish average here too.. 100-104 after a good "run" !

usualy having around 87-93 on a normal ride here in the alps .

but in summer with gripy tires and 25°+ on serpentine roads i`ve seen 115-127

also on the german Autobahn without restriktion i`ve seen 125° on a hot summer day but thats after 145/150miles/h for over 20 mins constant.

A normal drive on a cool day and it runs at about 84-86. When I drive quickly I normally see it go to about 90-92. Driving quickly on a hot day I've seen it at 106.

All normal temps, as previously mentioned these engines do run quite hot. :-)
