What would cause my miltek downpipe to knock.

I had a look under the car and all the turbo-downpipe bolts he are tight but there is around 3-4mm between the heatshield and the downpipe. so as the engine moves backwards - forwards it knocks. Could it be a dodgy engine mount?

dog bone mount bushing have been replaced.....

Could be a mount that is worn.

The downppipe runs close to the steering rack heat shield and even closer on sports downpipes and decats, any worn mount could cause a touching on gear change.

Gearbox mount would be your next to change if you have already replaced the dogbone mount. Did you replace with a poly bush.
