Aircon low pressure return pipe?

Featured Replies

Hey folks!

When getting an aircon recharge on my VRS I was advised (by F1 Autocentres) that I had a hole in the low pressure return pipe. They looked into replacing it for me but came back saying that the pipe cannot be purchased separately as it comes as part of the compressor. Of course this would be a ridiculously expensive option to replace, as the aircon worked fine before this hole. Has anyone else either experienced this and managed to find a suitable replacement pipe or simply have any great ideas? Many thanks for any assistance you can provide!

Nick.

I'd reckon that you must be right, its not on to design and fit a compressor that has hoses as part of the assembly - good idea though for generating big money!
