Pitting after debadging - help

Featured Replies

Hi guys and gals.

just debadged the boot of my 03 Occy but have noticed that where the badges have been on for 9+ years there is what appears to be scratches/pitting around the exact edge of the lettering. Although to any passers by it isnt noticable i can see it from miles away. what would you suggest for a broke newbie who cant afford(and doesnt want) a respray. i know Tcut has been around for ages but lots of people on the forums are not fans. Prob doesnt matter but car is metallic green.

Cheers.

it depends on how bad the damage is, if its only surface then it maybe possible to use use a light abrasive polish to remove the surface damage but if its deep then it may require a respray of the area.

have you tried waxing / polishing and allowing the polish / wax to stay in pitting ?
