What sort of tightening are you guys using?

I installed mine today and if the clamp is tightened a fair bit it distorts the pu bush in its saddle. I tightened so the buish was held solidly in place (not very tight on the nut) and then used threadlock...

I tightened mine until the bush distorted the knocked it back a thread

Yeah, that's what i ended up doing. I suppose the bushings are really only holding it in place
