Yesterday the Ford Ka went the way of all things and was replaced by a sharp white Elegance spec Citigo with parking sensors and city safe. My wife was presented with a bunch of flowers and shown around the car, so far, so good, however no PID :( dealer apologises forgot to order it, might be another 5 days I look around the car some more and ask where is the bag hook on the glovebox latch? :wonder: dealer the what on where? I get brochure show the text to the dealer, dealer says he'll email Skoda.

Has anyone else not got their PID when their car was delivered? and has anyone else noticed the missing hook?

I don't think i have the hook, but did get the PID.

Our citygo Elegance has just arrived at the delearship and we pick it up on Friday morning. We also have to wait for the satnav thingy but the dealer assures us that it will be delivered in the next 5 days.

There is some confusion I think on when and how the PiD has to be ordered. The original demos we were supplied had them automatically ordered by now I think we have to order them in separately.

The bag hook is an optional extra according to my Danish brochure. The photo clip on the dash is also an optional extra coming in November.

The bag hook is shown as being standard on SE and Elegance, we don't get the picture clip in the UK

Sorry to disagree, tda2806, but I'm sure I have seen the picture clip mentioned in the brochure. I can't look at it right now (I have it as a pdf on my computer at work), but I will have a look tomorrow and report back.

I have not seen it in the brochure, but in the handbook pinned on this forum (page 50), and I realise that doesn't commit Skoda to actually providing it.

3 days on and PID has arrived, installed and works like a dream

Salesman still hasn't heard back from SKODA UK about the bag hook, its on the web site spec sheet as well.

So are the PIDs not factory-fitted? Even though they're standard spec on Elegance models?

That's correct, the dealer Has my car, but they need to order the PID
