sorry, I grew up with Type 2 Bay Window vans, even when my dad's was two years old I remember spending as much time on the hard shoulder as on the road. This one cruises at 80 and when I bought it I drove from Somerset back to Edinburgh and still had quarter of a tank left. Try that in a bay window

Love it, really want one of these and this one is a beauty.

mortgage the kids and make me an offer, I'll even throw in a copy of the mag with the four page spread it featured in :giggle:

Beautiful! Mrs alkip and I can only hope that one of these days we'll have something as splendid as this.

GLWTS

Very nice  We had a 79 Mk 2 and travelled all over the place in her & spent little or no time on hard shoulder. That's around our outstanding mortgage value so sadly way out of my league. Good luck with the sale

thanks guys, if anything it looks even nicer in the metal. Been advertised for a few days now and not a sniff of interest. May have to try again in the Spring when people are in the mood for a camper.

This is not necessarily a bad time to sell but unfortunately the timing happens to coincide with one of the worst and sustained recessions this country has seen in recent history. I suppose you may have to consider some price compromise but inevitably quality sells & this is real quality
