Hi All,

I have a Skoda Fabia I 1.4MPI engine. Lately it lacks power and acceleration is poor. You have to rev the engine above 2500rpm in order to accelerate and shifting down gears too. I did a VAG COM scan this morning and this is what I got:

2 Faults Found:

17549 - Load Calculation Cross Check: Implausible Value

P1141 - 35-00 - -

16556 - Fuel Trim: System Too Rich: Bank 1

P0172 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

Any ideas?

I also noted that when I read engine parameters with Vag-Com, the load is stuck in 100%. Is that normal?

Try the Map sensor http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/17549/P1141/004417 It's on the rear of the intake manifold on top of the engine and relatively easy to replace.
