Thanks mate,

I know, It was gutting really as they were ready to go on!

But a claim has gone through and Im getting £250. Which pays for the refurb, I had them stripped and re powdercoated in porch gt grey.

Cheers man!!

Going to look nice when fitted! Shame about the damage but at least it's all sorted :)

Id really appreciate if you could take a couple pics when fitting the camber shims on the rear as I really want to sort mine!

That looks epic mate :D this is going to look amazing when finished :P

I've always thought 18's Are ok. Only really on air though!!

A lot of people don't think they work, and i have said before you need air really to pull them off, can't wait to get them fitted now haha

I think it depends on the style of wheel too. Some just look too big.

Yours seems to look pretty good though. Will be good to see them fully fitted :)

That's a bummer.

I wasn't sure about them off the car, but look good on, so far.

Hero, i think your rite mate, wheels with a lot of space between the spoke give the illusion of being bigger, but these because there really spoked, work.

Cheers jars, can't wait to get them fitted now! My adaptors should be here at the end of next week hopefully, if g23 pull their fist out.

i was going to say some sort of BMW wheel. Have you centre the axle?
  • Author

What do you mean have a centred the axle ant ??

What do you mean have a centred the axle ant ??

I think he means so that when you drop it, the wheel is in the centre of the arch, like in this pic.

As we all know the wheel moves back the lower the car goes! :)

I may be wrong of course. Haha

ooooo I see what you mean, your on about IDF drop plates to stop the forward rotation of the axle on lowering. Well i haven't managed to get the wheels on the car when its aired out, all of this calculation will come when I get my car back and my adaptors.

I will report back when get everything back

Love this! Giving me so much inspiration and cant wait to see it with the 18's on! What size tyres you running?
