They've just started selling that size at like £50 each ... Absolute bargain. Everyone else wants silly money or doesn't even make 205/35/18

I want to see the wheels :(

Let me know how you get on with the camber shims mate as when I fitted them I had problems with the brake carrier rubbing on the disc, tried using washers on the bolts but still rubbed so had to take them off!

Yeh that can be one of the problems, What i did on my old polo was to put 2 washers just on the bottom bolts of the stub axle which cambers the disk sell or something like that, it was a while ago,

I have also just bought these to get the front wheels under the arches,

Some bad news, Got the wheels back the other day, opened the parcel last night, 3 out of the 4 faced have been smashed, big chunks of the powder coat have been smashed off, ****ed off is an understatement.

No pictures or else you would know what they are haha so I have decided to get them polished instead.

That's a real shame mate :( hope they cover the cost to get it re-done

Car looks amazing mate

Gutted about the rims, been waiting in anticipation to see what they are haha

Hope you can get it sorted hassle free mate :)

  • Author

Yeh i was a bit gutted about it really, I have been back and forth with their claims department, i have sent 20 + pictures and they have finally said today "a claim is underway" which means ? i have no idea haha we shall soon see.

I have dropped them off at prestige wheels today, they are being stripped and powder coated in porsche gt grey, really nice colour, its like a dark grey/silver and its also slightly blue.

Its hardly been hassle free so far, but i don't think i will be paying, intact. I won't be paying a bean.

I bet you was mate, ridiculous how much they mess about when its there fault but if it was the other way around they'd be on your back instantly

Sounds like a sweet colour choice :D look forward to seeing them

  • Author

To be perfectly honest, its been bit of a ball ache but they have been really professional about it. Yeh it is a really nice colour can wait to get it finished now!! Should have some exciting updates soon, or i might just not update it again until UD haha

It sounds it mate, least your finally getting there

I bet you can't haha

Sweettt, will look forward to the updates :D

They do look really good quality.

Can you adjust the camber while these are fitted, or do you have to remove them to make adjustments?

  • Author

Im really surprised! For the price i got them for i was expecting them to be crap haha

From what i can imagine as i haven't got them fitted yet, i presume you would just jack the car up to take the weight off then loosen it and slide it to where ever you want it! i will be running around 3 degrees i think haha

  • Author

The car won't be at ultimate dubs now, no point rushing it, had some big setback with the wheels and what not.

Will be early edition by the time it comes out to play.

Worth the wait I'm sure :)

So I decided to unveil my wheels yesterday as I'm bored of keeping them a secret haha

They are alpina softline splits, an optional extra on e36 alpinas so they are very rare. I have never seen another set.

18", 8j et 20, But having to use My custom g23 18mm adaptors it makes them et2.

Hence the reason for the camber shims and camber top mounts.

Let me tell you a bit more about them, When i first bought them they were in mint condition, sent the faces away to g23 and the courier has decided to have a go juggling with them and left hem in this state.
