Here it was 2 days before EE.

Then the day before, It was my fault I pumped the breaks to try and get my adaptors off and forgot the rear callipers were off and popped both pistons out.

Then my resident mechanic (verytom_) on IG, Had to bleed the rears breaks again and stripped the bleed nipple out of the caliper.

So the day of the MOT I had to find a caliber which was amazing that I was able to find one in time, got it fitted and it flew through, all it needed was 2 bulbs.

What degree is that rear camber?

  • Author

The camber on the rear is 7.5 degrees

The camber on the rear is 7.5 degrees

wow I hope it don't look silly with that much pal. I seen a few before and I personaly don't like it. I'm running 2.5-3 on the rear I think

Some people will like it and some people won't, the best thing about it is i don't really care what anyone thinks. the wheels fit perfect with the camber and it look good when its down, Some people would still consider that a lot

That looks pretty special mate :) good work. What's it like to drive with that camber?

Did you for the front camber adjustable top mounts?

  • Author

Thanks man, I have had plenty of help but we pulled it off in the end!! I don't drive it quick and take it easy round bends haha If i drove it quick it would soon become a qube in a scrapyard, I reckon the back end would go pretty quickly if i gave it a tickle.

The front top mounts are on dude and at 3 degrees, they don't look like they have much, that may be due to the backs being pretty titled haha In a straight line it drives lovely, really smooth.

Awesome :) I noticed the fronts, but it almost looks standard compared to the rears

  • Author

Ha they really do hardly any at all in comparison.

Ill get the pictures up straight away!

that recovery look nasty did you get the bumper repaired ?

  • Author

It was mate, there was nothing i could do as the truck was rolling into my car :(

They had it repaired for me eventually, It took ages as i kept getting them quotes at places that are upto my standard then they refused to pay out, which caused the guy sorting it out to have a breakdown haha

Very long story short, they paid up, the place did a crap job, a lot of other things needed doing so i got it resprayed lol

If anyone can suggest a decent cone filter aswell, that would be great!

Just started trying to re route some of the wiring to clean the bay up a little, got rid of that thick hard plastic coating as it looked horrible and material taped it all up instead,

  • 1 month later...

I have not even touched this build thread for around 2 months now, so a bit of an update is due!

The battery is now relocated to the boot, I have a spare wheel for the first time ever so i can get home if the **** hits the fan,

I managed to find a 17" steel in the correct fitment for my adaptors, It needed to be 17" as the air ride management, the compressor and the battery are all located underneath it) Then fitted a 185/35/17 tyre to it.

So since early edition i have not taken it out of the shed, I have rebuilt 2 of the wheels and also replaced a knackered boost hose.

I have been to dumbing since, got a few photos of my mates cars,

Last weekend was players, After the horrible 5:30 trip down and smuggling 4 of us into a family room which one "1 person" was staying in didn't go down too well at 2:30 in the morning haha

This was the knackered boost hose, the lugs had worn down on the side and kept popping off, got this off craig robinson :)
