Classic Car Rescue, Channel 5

Featured Replies

Watching it for the first time right now - I love Wheeler Dealers, but this is terrible - typical Channel 5 production.

The staged 'arguments', 'sackings' etc. are cringeworthy.

Give me Edd and Mike any day.

Ah yes, thank you for reminding me that's on tonight :)

Martyn, thats that Mark fella isn't it?

He did a bloody great job on that car.

Now that one would be worth £30k if not more.

He has done some great projects.

If I remember correctly, Mark's one cost him ~50k to do up.

Watch 5min of it and the baldy bloke was too annoying. Farmer should have smacked him not sold him the car.

I managed 10min. Once the back end fell off and they continued to restore it I switched off.

I bet no-one has phoned in to win it.

I wtched a whole episode for the first time tonight, (the MGB episode). There's an hour of my life I won't get back.

They don't show you what checks or other work they had to do to make sure the rear suspension mounts were sound and all correct.

And anyone seen that car scrappers programme on National Geographic channel (if you have it). That is one of the worst cases of over acting I've seen. Don't think any one of them are remotely involved in the motor trade.
