I have no idea what's going on in the elgin area, but the amount of vrs octavias is getting beyond the joke. In the past 4 weeks i have seen atleast 7 new vrs's to the area and the numbers just keep on going up. Ah well the days of having a rare car in my area are long gone, on the bright side look's like i have some new bff's lol.

Same here if its not the BP workers its the bloody taxi drivers had some walloper trying to race me few weeks ago absolutely pathetic if you ask me.

Not that many round my way (must be too many badge snobs) so i'm hoping for a period of exclusivity for a while.

I agree. I got sick of seeing white vRS taxis round here. I assume most/all would have been diesel and not the proper petrol one.

Ah Jonno, I too have noticed that the proper petrol one is not as popular. Probably for the best IMHO.

If it wasn't for the diesel and the sales volume it generates for the vRS you'd have paid a lot more for your 'proper' petrol!

I am surprised that some people are under the illusion that the diesel VRS has in some way subsidised the petrol version.

My car is better than yours argument. Reminds me of the playstation vs Xbox argument. Takes me back to being a teenager. In my opinion all vrs are proper. Don't see many of them in my neck of the woods :-)

And the "Proper" MK1 Fabia VRS was very exclusive !! :giggle:

Petrol is best though :giggle: :p

I taxi in a petrol vRS so I guess you could say I have a 'proper one' too :p

Mine's proper also.

And mine :bandit::rofl:

Just started noticing a lot more VRs down here in the Medway area, quite a lot of the metallic blue ones, and estates (I didn't realise that they made VRs estates). I was going down the A2 the other day (in my old Mondeo), and there was a black VRs behind me, so I pulled in after I had passed the car on the inside, and the VRs driver actually thanked me - very rare to get that from anyone nowadays.

Notice this too, though most I see are race blue so I'm not sure if it's lot's of them or the same one I'm seeing lot's of times :giggle:

Where I live you hardly see any VRs so I cant wait to get mine next month and you don't see many in silver which I have ordered.

And mine :bandit::rofl:

On that basis, mine's not, but it's still better. :giggle:

What was that didnt hear you for the diesel clatter :makeup:

My vRS before my last one was diesel and it was a bit dull although better with the remap. I changed it for another proper vRS though (first one was petrol) as soon as I could and remapped that straight away ;-)

Great value car in becoming popular shocker!

Well I for one am amazed.

Indeed good value and exclusivity rarely go hand in hand :)

You've clearly never sat in one with the lump running then, to say that.... :giggle:
