Spent the last x2 days trying to clean up the Evolo's ready for sanding and spraying. :)
They came up better than i imagined and the faces don't need much, if any, work doing to them. :)
Just waiting for payday to get the last few bits required before i start properly refurbing.

Project on hold for a day trip out to Canterbury, St. Margaret's Bay and a drive across a bit of the South coast as far as Hastings:

Many thanks to the guys mentioned above, couldn't have done it without you.

thanks for the mention, John. All credit to Connor though, really. Hope it felt better on the drive back. Next up's the bushes

Certainly looks better B)

Looks great John, bet you'll notice the difference around Combe :)

I had him in my mirror back to the motorway, certainly seemed flatter in the bends and less roll :)

Note to self; take off wheel arch liners and clean the crap out :giggle:

Noticed a great difference while travelling, less body roll for starters. :)

Had a quick look at the Powerflex website earlier but not 100% sure which bushes i need.

On my to do list for the next month or 2 will be to refurb the Evolo's and get them fitted and also to fit a couple of other new bits i'll hopefully collect next week. :)

None of them will be fitted before Combe though, unless i pull my finger out. ;)

You get a nice build up of crap under the front wings as well, just between the wheel arch and door. ;):D

Wondering whether i should get some spacers put on the car, just to bring the wheels out a little more, as sometimes i feel like they are too hidden away. Something to ponder on i think.

Looks great John :) I think it looks ok as it is.

Cheers Charlie. Just something i keep pondering, like removing the bump strips, but never get round to it.

why couldn't it have been that clean last saturday, then we could have made it dirty :D

Looks good, John :)

Bare in mind that the further out the tyres/rims are the more stuff gets sprayed up the sides.

So more mess and (I noticed) more scratches/tar/rubber on track.

Also I think it looks good how it is, just looks right. :)

After being told, while i was having my springs done, that my pads looked near knackered and me thinking i'll do them after Combe, my nerve got the better of me and i decided to get them changed.

A search on here and i was soon buying some Pagid discs and pads but then had the issue of fitting them. I put a post on Facebook asking to borrow tools and i had an offer to fit them from Group1RS, so i gratefully accepted:

Thanks again Pete and thanks for cleaning the wheels we took off. Took a bit longer than an hour and a half to post. :D

Was a pleasure. And even the car stayed on the jack !

Top work guys looks great :)

Them wheels look spotless!

How are you finding the B8's and eibachs? Just fitted them on mine and they feel great.

Credit for that goes to Pete for bringing the silver back to my alloys. :D

They're great, best decision i ever made when it comes to modding. Always wanted Eibachs and read many reviews on here about pairing them with Bilsteins and glad i did.

I have to say the ride quality is indeed very good. The Eibach springs match the Bilstein B8 shocks. In no way crashy at all. Perfect ride height. They are now on the list for the wife's Furby.

Sits nice that does! That's the kind of ride height I'm going to try when I fit my spiders on Tuesday :)
