vRS19TD's Fabia vRS

I've had a couple of 'Animal' stickers but decided i didn't want to have a big sticker like that on the sides and took them off a couple of months ago.

I'm about 70/30 for the vRS stickers and want to see how it looks once the bump strips are off but then they may need to come off if the doors need spraying.

I'm not sure if they're wider. They do look like it from the rear on my pictures. :)

I dread to think how many Fabia's BossFox has had in my 10 years of owning this. :D

He's had about 29 Skodas in the time lol

Lol - twenty?

Bump strips break it up nicely and save your doors from muppets...

Stickers are always a divided matter, the Brisky B is my only one!

I like the look of the smoothness on cars without bump strips and the muppets here seem to scratch/chip in other places instead. I found a nice chip/chunk missing on my passenger wing just before my holiday and the car hadn't moved for a couple of weeks, so i know it was done here.

I've got a set of Golf bump strips to cut and spray just in case i want to add some protection.

I got my fabia wing dented a while back! Proper deep dent that really hacked me off

I've already had to replace the passenger front wing because a post jumped out at me. :D

It was MOT day today and i had a left rear caliper not working when the handbrake was engaged so, i removed the wheel and got to work with WD40 in hand, following a guide on here. I got it moving slightly but not enough, so my brother came out to give me a hand, armed with a screwdriver and hammer. Needless to say, a few whacks, a bit more WD40 and it was working again. :) Also decided to fit the caliper/helper springs i've had lying around for ages. No pictures but here's the wheel cleaned and sealed while it was off the car:

Anyway, failed the MOT as one of the headlights was out of alignment and it wouldn't move with the adjusters, so with about 20 mins until i had to head back for a quick retest or end up going back in the morning, the car looked like this:

We managed to sort it out by 5pm and quickly put the car back together for me to race down to the garage by 5:15 and managed to get it to pass. :)

After that, i decided to change the rear vRS badge to the Mk3 Octavia one:

I hadn't realised, before fitting, that it's actually a bit smaller than the Mk2 vRS badge.

I also replaced my Briskoda.net sticker in the rear window to.....

I'll probably regret it, as you can't buy those stickers anymore, but it had been in there for about 9 years and i fancied a change. B)

good to hear it's passed, mate

Of course, just got to convince them it's standard. :D

It'll be standard if you sell me the bits :)

Rapid spaceback is nice but I'd await the fabia 3.

Well, picked up a Rapid Spaceback in red today. I've only got 1 picture with the protection still on:

I was genuinely worried you'd gone mad when I saw the first line in the preview

Not the only thing you picked up.

Sounds like a busy day. :)

I do like the looks of the Spaceback though:

Yes, the non-stock suspension ones Skoda use for pictures look OK.

Yes, i should actually post something modding related. I met up with BossFox today to pick up a sports exhaust and a GTB1756. :)

Also decided, after talking to Richard, to stick with a DMF when i replace the clutch, as i don't think i could stand the noise and won't be going much more than 220bhp the turbo will hopefully provide for me. I never planned to go beyond what i have now, so i really think 220bhp is going to be my limit on this car.

True. Shame they don't look like it from factory.

I think 200bhp is pretty good for these and gives plenty more useable power with a better curve.

Just got back from holiday and taken my old girl out :)
