Ahh i want colour coded handles!!

There's someone on here breaking a silver Octavia that will likely have 3 handles.

Hi mate I've just picked my self up a Mk4 golf arm rest and I'm struggling to come up with a way of fitting it, have you got a plan on how you'll be attaching yours?

Have a look at timfok's progress in the fabia 1 section. He's fitted a couple of different arm rests :)

Found it!

I think I'm going to ask a chap I know at a garage if he can tack a few bits of threaded rod to the floor and then I could pop the mount on and then wind some nuts down so its solid as.

But I‘ll have to see what he says as I'm not too fond of the idea of self tapping screws going in to my interior trim, but atleast I know what to do if welding is a no go.

Picked up a Fabia vRS exhaust from aidy.t earlier in the month but had paint overspray on, so read up on how to get the paint off and turned out to be quite easy using oven cleaner. :)

whats next for the exhaust? or is it just a replacement part?

you have the two "holders" for the middle rear headrest? Theyre different to the others ;-)

I think i'll leave it for now but i have got the extra pipe if i change my mind. :)

The correct ones will hold the headrest tight, the wrong ones won't. 1 set is square and the other cylindrical but can't remember which way round. The middle ones are only about £10 for the set from skoda iirc

I know but hoping it will be okay for a while until i source another one. I'm hoping the black plastic just unscrews off and the part can come from any other Mk1 Fabia. :(
