We'll I couldn't sell it for what I thought was a very reasonable price before so I thought if it's staying i might as well show it some love to make me enjoy it more in my ownership.

Looking good will look awesome freshly painted

Good plan :) staying yellow?

Would look good in "yellow" - something the same, but a wee bit different like perhaps some extra flake in the clearcoat or something.

Gold Flake.

Priced up liquid yellow and some other colours, the painter would only do a full change as in engine bay the lot but out of my price range. Can't really add anything to my paint as it's two pack so I'm staying yellow as I can't argue with the price so I'm more than happy. Got a few little tweaks I'm having done free of charge like the arches, colour coded handles and all my dents removed because it's my brother who is doing all the labour on that. It will be in primer tonight, it should of been ready tomorrow but I changed my mind on something so looking at Monday/Tuesday now.

Look forward to seeing the finished car. :)

Gave the tip a polish as I can't have a horrible pitted exhaust with the fresh paint.

Good effort.  What did you use for that?  Drill attachment?

Sprayed it with fairy power spray and let soak for ten minutes, scrubbed with a stiff boot brush then rinsed it off, after it dried I polished by hand with some autosol and then used abit of brasso to finish and kept buffing it up.

To be honest it came out very good just after the fairy power spray and didn't need much polishing as it just eat away at all that road grime.
