Carpets shampood and wet vacd dry, OS rear door sealed, began cleaning the rear seats still got the lower benches and both front seats to do :(

Still got the other side rear door to do, that side is leaking seriously badly as the floor was soggy.

Anyone know the temporary plastic bag curtain trick? Could do with it as I don't want water getting in overnight after drying the carpets out!

Also bought the heater resistor ready to fit but lost time in the end!

So I've just about had enough of cleaning bloody seats! But thankfully I've got only the drivers seat to do!

Here's some before/afters, seats are still damp in the afters which is why they're a little dark.

Good work so far mate :-)

The seats look a million times better, nice work!

What you use josh? My seats are going mouldy from being sat there so long with leaking rear doors.

Great work Josh, lookin good

Controversially, I used a hardcore mix of carpet 1001, autoglym interior shampoo and vanish spray I found.

Sprayed it on, scrubbed it with a wet brush to foam it up a little.

Pressure washed it, working from top down blasting the brown water out.

Wet vac'd until damp then dried off inside by the radiator and they're literally good as new!

The drivers seat may be a different issue though, the foams a bit knackered and there's a small hole starting on the bolster :(

Oh and lubed up the seat mechanisms and wd40'd the runners and bolts etc

Nice work, but I reckon wet vac alone (perhaps with a 1001 shampoo pre-scrub) would have had the same results. My pet vax is a great seat cleaning tool.

Have to agree Jason, i used Vax multi purpose cleaner on mine and came up a great with minimal effort.

Still looks nice and clean though :)

Definitely. I only have a wet vac Hoover, not a carpet cleaning machine. So I had to resort to pressure washer to rinse out! Worked well though lol :)
