Am looking at organising another How Fast event for Briskoda.

It's essentially the cheapest for of competitive motorsport out there.

Held at Bedford Autodrome everyone gets an hours practise to learn the track and then 2 individual timed laps to set the fastest possible time.
Fastest lap "wins" and getts bragging rights over the rest of the forum! :p

We are pencilled in for Saturday 1st of June as a potential date although this can be confirmed/changed at a later date.

Cost is normally £99 - however we get a 10% group booking discount if we take more than 10 cars = £89.10

Maximum attendence is only 18 cars

The previous exclusive session we did in May of 2012 was brilliant.
The timed element adding a competitive edge and the hour and a bit running meaning it's not as car killing as a full track day.

I'd probably organise the 10am session again and maybe book a pub or something so we can all have some lunch and banter afterwards

MSV haven't compiled a list of How Fast dates that far into the year yet but the 1st June was the first date they thought could be pencilled in.

You can hire them there for about £10.

Last time I took a few helmets for spares and lent them out too.

I was surprised at just how relaxed MSV were about it!

I got sounded tested on the way into the venue, they stuck a transponder on my number plate and that was it!

I don't remember seeing staff checking helmets etc but they were probably there.

As said though a helmet, and i think long sleeves, (as per any other trackday) are the only requriements

Do I have to be in a Skoda?

Need to check when im in Wales (Holiday) which I think is towards the end of June (or is it may??) but i'm seriously interested in another track day.
