I would recommend making the call, MSV only take your phone number and details, payment is taken nearer the time and if we get enough people I think we get a discount too.

So come on chaps, register yourselves and see if we can fill this up.

All the more reason to fill with Skoda cars from here.

I have heard Bedford is one of the best tracks for novices as there is nothing to hit if you are pushing too hard.

Other than the first corner (which has one of the lowest cornering speeds) you'd have to be driving way, way off track to find anything other than grass and a few cones.

You can see on my lap how little there is, so you can press on a bit.

^^^^^ Looking good, I can't wait for this event, I know it is a long way to go for just an hour or so but what else would I be doing? So I might as well be at Bedford.

What is the latest i could book this? I really want to come along but its abit far away to commit just yet.

The spaces are reserved just for Briskoda members at the moment, but at some stage MSV will give up waiting for people to register by phoning them and offer the other spaces to the public via their website.

Even though the money will not leave your bank account until about two weeks before the event we currently have 14 on the list, only 4 of which have actually told MSV they are going...

I genuinely don't understand putting your name down here if you really intend to go and not phoning MSV, because there is nothing to pay now.

I hope it's not going to be like last Autumn when over half of the people never bothered to turn up after saying they would.

Fortunately the Summer one last year was well attended and we had a lot of members there, it was a nice social/track event.

Tottaly agree. This is why i didnt put my name down as I cant commit just yet. It turns out I have a driving experience bought for my birthday on the 2nd in llandow so i think i will have to give this a miss anyway as much as I would love this to be my first track day not just in the skoda but in any car I have owned and sounds very beginner friendly.

I want to come but as I won't be in a skoda I haven't put my name down yet.

I want to buy any wheels with any tyres fitting my girl but had no luck so far (wasn't searching to much must admit).

I'd love to get 17" rims in any cosmetic state with some racing rubber to go on them. Anybody has any suggestions as to the best way of getting it?

Wife and kids always do something to celbrate (a surprise) so it'd be rather rude to dissapera for whole day . Perhaps I could negotiate this one as a prezzie? Still need rims and wheels to be able to go to a track - I will not use my OEMs on track. Any help advice as to where is the best to get rims and used (even very used) racing tyres to fit from?
