We are pleased to let you guys know that we have now put together a budget turbo kit for 1.9 & 2.0TDi engines.

1.9 TDi VE Engine

Skoda Octavia - ALH 90, AHF / ASV 110

1.9 TDi PD Engines

Skoda Octavia Mk1 - ATD, AXR 100bhp / ASZ 130bhp

Skoda Octavia Mk2 - BXE, BKC, BJB 105bhp

Skoda Fabia - ATD, AXR, BEW 100bhp / ASZ, BLT 130bhp

Skoda Roomster - ATD, AXR, BSW 100bhp / BLS 105bhp

2.0 TDi Engines

Skoda Octavia Mk2 - AZV 136, BKD 140bhp

This Turbo Kit is a drive-in/drive-out service offering a 200bhp or 230bhp conversion for your 1.9 or 2.0 TDi with a Cast Manifold

Included in the service:

GTB1749V Turbo (200bhp maximum) or GTB1756V Turbo (230bhp Maximum)

Custom 2.5" Stainless De-Cat Downpipe

Braided Oil Feed and New Oil Return

4 BAR MAP Sensor

Oil and Filter Swap (Quantum Platinum Oil, Genuine Filter)

Fully Fitted at our Workshop

Custom Re-map - with before and after dyno print out

An upgraded clutch is advised but we have done quite a few of these conversions and 50% of the time the stock clutch holds, even with an aggressive tune! As long as your Clutch and Flywheel are in good condition it should be okay

Your intercooler pipework must be in good condition. Ideally an upgraded pipework kit is recommended. We have different kits listed here -

http://www.darksided...lers-and-pipes/

We can offer discounted rates off the fitting of any clutch, intercooler or exhaust kit done at the same time

The power figures quoted are conservative, not exaggerated like others may quote. The GTB1756V is better in every way than the hybrids offered on the market at the moment. The spool on the GTB1749V will be similar to the standard turbocharger and more than adequate with the larger turbo for town use

The Dyno Printout shows the GTB1756V Kit fitted to a Polo PD130. The spec of a car is here -

224bhp%20&%20360Ft%20Lbs.JPG

The 1.9 TDI PD130 & PD150 and the 2.0 16v PD140 Engines will do 230bhp on the Stock Injectors

PD100, PD105 & PD115 engines will require PD150 Injectors to get past 170bhp -

http://www.darksided...130-073-al.html

90 & 110 VE Engines will also require Race Injector Nozzles with this turbo kit -

PRICES

GTB1749V Turbo Kit (200bhp maximum) - £1500 ex VAT £1800 inc VAT

GTB1756V Turbo Kit (230bhp Maximum) - £1600 ex VAT £1920 inc VAT

PLEASE NOTE: THIS KIT CAN ONLY BE FITTED IN OUR WORKSHOP, PARTS CANNOT BE SOLD SEPERATELY

Cool

For info though - The -

Fabia - ALH 90, AHF / ASV 110" - was never done by Skoda. The first diesel Fabia was the PD100

:)

Apologies, one of the lads wrote the listing :-)

Technically speaking the first diesel Fabia was the 1.9 SDI - ASY Engine Code

So no discount at all then!!!??

As this is the exact same price I was quoted without mentioning I was a member of any forums :(

This isn't a group buy.

and Ryan, I was ignoring anything without a turbo. :D

Would the Superb 1.9 tdi 130bhp be suitable for this too? I know the engine is mounted differently in these so thought I would ask.

This kit is already heavily discounted compared to what it would cost to buy the part individually. The discount Forum Members get is on the other products (Intercooler Kits, Exhausts, Injectors etc). 99% of our customers are a member of 1 forum or another so giving a Discount only to certain forum members will mean that our actual prices may as well just be lower.

The Superb has the same Engine setup as the Passat and A4, we have setups available for those as well.

Thanks

This section is Group Buys and Promotions. :)

Price seems OK to me.

Would the price be the same for the Superb?

On a side note, do you only develop for the diesels? Anything for a 1.8t 150bhp petrol?

Hey Darkside :)

How long will this offer last for?

  • Author

Until we run out of Turbos :-) We are hoping for it to be an ongoing thing, but the price may increase dependant on Turbo availability

Thanks!

So in simple terms £2160 gets me a 200bhp Roomster? Give or take a clutch and a BFOFMIC. (assuming £300 for PD150 injectors for my 'PD105')

Could we do a deal including an uprated SMIC Kit and minus the 2.5" downpipe as I already run a turbo back 2.75" zorst ? ;)

Whats the Engine code in your Roomster? Last one I saw was a BLS

Cheers

I would love to see the face of the driver who had just been shown up by a Roomster :D

Coming soon to a set of traffic lights near you!! :giggle:

Top job.

Engine code is BSW

Same setup as the AXR Engine, so this kit will work (was making sure it was not top mounted like the BLS).

Drop me an email with the list of mods you already have, and we can sort it out. I am sure a 200bhp+ Roomster will turn a few heads!

Probably still have to do what I did which is chop off the plate on the end of the downpipe, and weld on the adaptor for the GTB turbo. Assuming GTB downpipe connector is the same as mine anyway. :)
