Pollen filter / Cabin filter

Always wanted to check, but only got time now:

Under passenger dash (beneath glove compart) ...

Held by only 2 hand tighten screws:

Just slide this to one side to unlock

And let filter drop down:

So, is Audrey s cabin filter due for renewal?

It might look like i need to remove the whole mirror motor too! :-(

http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/306592-wing-mirror-indicator-lens-cover/

Removed 2 torx screws made no difference.

The indicator is well embedded.

Would need to remove the bottom plastic cover (with downlighter).

And cannot see one (of 2 clips) which hold the indicator in place :-(

Anyone any ideas ?

I changed a pre FL Octavia one a couple of months ago and the motor needed to come out... but it takes 10 mins from start to finish (for the whole job... mirror, motor & indicator) so not a huge issue.

Cheers Martin!

I suspected that - but didnt want to go ahead and break more things.

The 2nd indicator clip is deffo behind the motor (i know that for sure).

The main silver torx screw in middle of motor i have already worn the head :-(

Thy soooooo soft! Eeeek!

I ll have a go another time.

Can I help you do it tomorrow Wayne?

If u got time, Chris.

I got the torx tools.

Removed mirror.

Remove three torx screws (not sure wot the 3rd screw does - lol)

Could just about prise the corner of the bottom wing mirror cover apart,

and jigged one of 2 indicator clip out.

But no way I can see (let alone unclip) the 2nd indicator clip behind mirror motor.

I think apart from motor,

the wing mirror bottom cover need to come off too.

So basically,

Need to dis-assemble WHOLE wing mirror ...
