Mats and boot liner for 2008 Octavia Estate

Featured Replies

Sorry for the newbie question but where do you get yours from? How much are official ones or are there any preferred makers?

I've got a Hatch Bag liner in my 2006 VRS hatchback and that is pretty good, nice and thick and made to measure.

I'd stay oem,

Here's mines,

Just bought a set of OEM rubber mats from the dealer for £25. Fit perfectly as you would expect.

Thanks, I've not bought it from a main dealer so there's no chance of getting freebies.

I can't find prices on the skoda website, ill call in the morning and nosey on eBay too.

Hi Kosher,

OEM rubber floor mats are hard to beat, but for the boot liner we have one of these: http://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbvehsel4_tab.php/boot-liners-mats/autoform_boot_liner_skoda_octavia_estate_2005_onwards_no_atl61114/Qx%40w%2C6M41V_VndbVhpeetSUTP0qJCrt03ge4NA.8mgE7RbOe.xHTprwwkYqHQtv%603%40fQoQKaI%2C.xAnO%40~ZS

I can't fault it at all. It was in the back of our previous car for three years and despite having wet kayaking/climbing kit thrown in as well as grandkids muddy/sandy boots , not a scrap of crud or water got through to the boot carpet. Just ordered another one for the new car - wouldn't be without one. There are cut-outs one raised fittings to go over the securing eyes on the boot floor, so it fits perfectly (provided you don't have a variable boot floor of course!)

Kind Regards

Ian

No-one seems to have one, But I went for the OEM fabric waterproof liner instead cos it was intended for a dog. Has a flap that you can put over the lip of the boot to stop him scratching it with his paws. Flat piece of material which fold into corner shapes which are about 5" high on the sides and clips on to the luggage hooks. Literally had pools of water rolling around in there without a drop coming out. Brilliant bit of kit.

The hatchbag liners are an amazing bit of kit! Don't know what it is with boot carpets but they just attract and keep hold of every bit of crud!!

My liner is made to measure and covers every bit of the boot ( sides/back of seats and flap to protect bumper ) already saved £££s on cleaning with spillages and various other products that I've spilled in the boot- life saver.

^1. Got mine from there too. Very good fit and quality and speedy delivery.

Yes, can't complain. Excellent fit, with a lip around the edge. Easy to clean. Saved my boot lining from bricks, nails, mud etc...

Same here for me. I use rubber mats during the winter and got mine from my local dealer for £25. At that price, I didn't see the point of not going OEM.

I've an Audi A6 rigid liner in mine. Wouldn't fit with a raised floor.

I've just realised that we have the false bottom boot. Are there any liners that I can use. I called my local Skoda garage and they couldn't find one.

Try www.SkodaParts.com for official parts and ask for their best price!

They are Bickerton Skoda in Sheffield.

Thomasz is the man to speak to!

Got a set of 4 genuine rubber mats from TPS today, £26.40 including vat.
