Featured Replies

Here is the road test segment of my cars first service today. Glad to see it was looked after, changing early etc. Was awesome looking weather here today despite everything being frozen this morning :sun:

1080p

***EDIT***Translation to the 5:40 bit is along the lines of "Oh S#IT, What an idiot". Then something about 35.

They probably knew the camera was on. ;)

Nice old Jag sat outside the workshop!

And what had they left at the bottom of the windscreen?

Would unlikely have gone over double the speed limit 3 times if he did

Having worked in a main dealers, it would be highly hypocritical of me to comment on it at all  . He changed nice and early and just brought it up to a sensible speed, location was pretty quiet and his fines if caught. Glad my winter alloys are still on though ridding the roundabouts and got close to kerb on left a few times, not used to RHD. Putting the summer rubber back on this weekend I think :sun:

What was the translation at 5:40, he didn't sound too happy!?

Added translation from work

Very clean and tidy garage at the dealer.

Haha. We once went to get some new tyres while in Germany and the young lad didn't want to drive our car as he'd never driven a RHD car and was scared! Bless.

Never thought of a drive recorder for this use. Good to keep an eye on how your car is being treat while in their hands.

I guess really for a proper road test they need to get the speed up a bit and check that it's delivering power as it should and also for any funny noises etc.

Phil, are regular tyres any cheaper in Germany ?, I'm talking branded 205/55/16's.

I think they are a little cheaper.

The winters we had fitted were slightly cheaper than in the UK.

Will ask when I'm over there this week. Other halfs uncle is in the motor industry.

Phil

Looks all good... altho he does seem to be driving on the wrong side of the road ;)

And what's with all those funny coloured number plates?? :D

Nice video, very clean and tidy dealership.

Sorry for going off topic...

Not much difference due to exchange rate etc. German Website here for comparison:

thats one long road test if car has only come in for a service lol

I replug my blackvue into a permanent live when I take mine for a service/mot. Always curious about what happens to it when I'm not around. Not had any messing around, but will be amused if I do find some.

It will be the done thing now one on rear window looking through car would be a good one I think. My concern was that generally they only deal with greenlines etc as VRS's are €43K here now and €46K for a stock CR when I got mine, so no one has them. Remapped its about double the power they normally have to play with. But I am happy enough with the care taken with car etc steering wheel even has a plastic cover on it you can see in reflection of windscreen when they have it along with seat and floor covers.
