From someone who generally doesn't like caravans - that one's a real beauty - I'm worried now, is it catching?

Can you fit a full size snooker table in one of them things ???...if so I want one.

Not sure the rest of the weekend but today stripped down the rear brakes on the Monster; still having issues with them sticking and the disks/pads are now about shot but I might be able to squeeze another 10k out of them :wonder:

This time I took out the sliders as well as the pads, found the white grease applied at the factory had turned to almost glue, also wound back the piston cleaned the pads and guides before putting it back together with copper slip. Will see if that improves things and if so will think about replacing the disc/pads with new.

Summer wheels back on while I was at it although it's still cold enough for winters; I might be changing back yet :wonder: Also washed her and the Monte, plus started on my lads car but he felt guilty and came to finish it off :giggle: Oh have done some shopping while road testing the brakes and faffed with the router, as it decided to keep disconnecting me :wonder:

Feet up shortly I hope,

Worked last night and slept until 1330.

Working tonight.

Working Saturday night 'til around midnight.

Off Sunday, but will be in bed around 2130, so I might get a pint or a glass of wine with dinner.

Working Monday days, + Tues & Weds.

Yeti washed, polished (cold hands) had lunch (warmed hands on wood burner, tried warming them on SWMBO first :punch:) out in the cold again applied layer of extra gloss protection, (on the car BOB). Back indoors avoiding SWMBO, warm hands on wood burner again, 30 minuets drying time later out to buff it off.

Tomorrow am will be doing the inside, then pm will be spent spending money on wedding outfit :whew:

See Too Much Snow for a Yeti topic!!

Cheers

Peter

Reviewed a fibre broadband product schedule, drafted some telephony and broadband terms and conditions then went to collect my son from his grandparents, now ready for the weekend. (got gritted by 4 different snowploughs on the way home so car looks very white again).

Looks like I'm going to have to make time to give my Yeti a good clean over the weekend too.

Might go out in this (as I don't have a s****y caravan)

Got blinking cold washing some motor club banners to go on our stand at next weekend's Manchester Classic & Performance Car Show (indoor) at Event City at the Trafford Centre.

Tomorrow off to see the outlaws, then Sunday I might just get round to washing the salt off the Yeti.

Then it's back to designing the stand for the Car Show, sorting paperwork, laminating info cards for the cars on our display.... oh the joys of being a motor club chairman - how the heck did I ever have the time to work? :giggle:

Cleaning slippy stuff off my tyres, and brushing up on Shakespeare!!!!

I dug out a broken fence post this afternoon. Discovered my hands are too big to go 18" down a 3x3 square hole. They are very sore now.

Still very cold down here, but no snow.

Need to clean the car inside & out and top up the washer fluid.

Most of all I need to RELAX. Work has been manic, 60-80 hour weeks are the norm, and I need to rest my eye as it is still playing up.

Sent using whatever device I'm using at the time.

No Bob, it's Easter.

Currently enjoying 30 degree heat in Texas but heading to Aspen, Colorado (via Dodge City in Kansas) where its 7 degrees and snowing heavily. :)

Considered hanging around up a tree for a few days, but it's so old fashioned.

And S****horpe!

Nothing during this weekend, however I am off work next week. Heading off to Brittany Monday and spending a few days down by the Mont Saint Michel before heading back to the UK towards the end of the week.

Snow you say, none here in Dorset and hopefully none round Avranches in France either.

Well I'll wave Thursday next,as I shall pass M.St Michel en route Bagnolles de l'Orne!

Didn't think this amount of interest would be generated, interesting reading! thanks guys/guyesses!

Off to the model club soon to collect my Class M r/c yacht(UK name Marblehead Class)for days sailing tomorrow - she's a bit big, 4' lomg overall height 8'+ 7' above waterline, great fun sailing her, the French don't understand her name Ca Suffira(That'll Do) the boat is approx a member of the class, the french produce everything as per instructed not make do and mend as in uk hence name!

She's the original reason for buying the Yeti, didn't want a van type, just fits the back minus seats with space for the dog(rough collie).

Bonne weekend a tous

Working today, tomorrow i'll be riding this for the Yorkhill kids hospital easter egg run :-)
