That might have spoiled the mood. ;)

lol

Brisky Session two from the Yeti front cam.

Apologies for the wittering, I was still buzzing from session one and had someone to talk to! :D

Watch out for the rather rapid well sorted Octy of Cossie1 and Dave's bit of track narrowing at Quarry using his estate. ;)

Removing the "red zone" overtakes ?

Removing the "red zone" overtakes ?

According to my videos an awful lot of people overtake in the red zones before the two chicanes.

Always have done, including on the brisky sessions.

If it's safe to do so, people do it.

on the first session I did cut in a bit too close in front of a silver mk1 once, but I'm not going to spend 30 posts trying to justify it.

He was wide and I was commited.  I should have held back a bit.

Actually I need the software to stitch all the clips together as they are 1 minute each.

I don't edit out any of my driving.

The cars that were behind me for a bit, I'll be able to do some short "chase cam" clips if you want.

I know Pete in his VRS plated VRS was with me for a fair while and another black Octy in session 2 was as well.

It just so happens the black Octy in the 2nd session was me. Would love to see the footage. And I'm a Pete aswell.

Right, for Pete the black mk1 Octy driver and err... Pete the other black mk1 Octy driver. :)

Give it a few seconds and it should be up and running.

Great vid, that Yeti doesn't exactly hang about either mind.

Whats the spec of it ?

Tried to get a tow passed by Cossie but alas rope snapped hehe

I find the estate amusing :D

I still just assume ur car offends u just before u go on track :D

Also cheers for mark and his rent a seat

Mmmmm a beastie of a car vroooooom :D

WANT !!!!!!!!!!!

Stock 170 CR diesel 4x4 with remap to 200bhp and Golf Anti Roll Bars.

I did save about 100kg of seating weight, then put a passenger in. :D

Still on stock factory tyres too.

I keep the spare wheel in and towbar on to keep a bit of weight in the tail end.

It doesnt make it right though surely, thats why we dont drive with the nutters ?

You bullied me out of 3 apex's throughout 2 sessions

And I wasn't alone (this is off 1 video)

With it not being a race I dont think "line" is applicable

I read and adhered to the rules and was shocked at being approached pre apex, but as you say If "everyone" is doing it it must be ok ?

Hardly bullied ! There was plenty of room. Use your mirrors and if something faster is in them get out of the way. Please don't turn this into a assassination of track day etiquette. Everybody had amazing fun without incident. Which is what it's all about.

Someone in our session did allegedly undertake someone else though which I found a little out of character.

Sometimes you do have to "hover" on the inside through a corner to get passed on the next straight.

Anyway, here's my video where hopefully I didn't do anything too nasty to anyone.

At least I didn't get overtaken (several times!) by a "stock" yeti!

I'm gonna look for some track skills in the for sale section!

It is a beast Lloyd...just wish I could use more of its power.... I'm not driving it hard enough by changing up at 5500rpm!

track tyres next and cold air feeds into the bay....heat soak was a problem from the get go!

Pic1.  You were slow into the left hander into Quarry, so carrying considerably more speed I went the long way round the outside of you, giving you the apex.

In the pic, the second apex for Quarry is way off (hence no blue cone in view) and I'm already passing you, meaning to get close to me you'd have to turn in on the corner before the apex.  I believed there was space behind me for you to turn in and hit the apex.

In theory this means the following car should brake hard, follow you left, then through quarry and the sit behind you all the way down to after the chicane.

I'll admit I've never seen anyone do this.

Pic2.

Everyone drove wide, way off the approaching apex.

No idea why, probably because they saw faster cars coming, so I drove straight through the big gap.

I had a brilliant day and loved it all, my point is it didnt happen last summer and it did this time, the red zones are no overtaking due to the increased driving risk.

I did see him and did yield my line as he was to me a hazard (if the circuit rules are applicable any more)

Im not moaning more noting perhaps that peoples over enthusiasm puts us noobs under pressure Camp corner is hard enough without the added stress of being forced wide

Your ok bud, i wouldnt worry what mr sox fox is upto dude

Mhe can drive whatever he is in

Faith dude if it is indeed mr sox fox he will just

Approach

Pass

Go

Just stay with what ur upto and let the looney go :D

Ir ask for a shotgun ride lol

No harm done :)

All happy folk i hope :)

Onwards with the clips n pics

Don't worrie Binzie. Next April should see a Fox in a mental Citigo. We all probably won't even notice him going passed ! Just like a erm what was that !

Can I get a shotgun in the citygo ?
