Just ask the question novice intermediate or advanced. This will work well it's a tried and tested method and will ensure a more comfortable experience where you can get on with your own driving without having to worry as much about what others are up to.

Except when all you quick guys come to lap us slow guys. :D

But by that time you will have had two thirds of the session uninterrupted. And that's just being conservative you may find that with this uninterrupted time your balls have grown huge and no one catches you.

Wow this has suddenly got serious. I think organising it by who is fastest detracts from the spirit of the brisky only session. It's supposed to be welcoming for new comers, which I think some of the faster/ more experienced trackers seem to have forgotten.

You're obsessed with balls. :D

Not at all, I was more than happy with mixing it with the less experienced yesterday, but as Bossfox has said, next year he's hoping to have the citygo out there, and with the power that has, his closing speed is going to be massive compared to some of the cars (even mine), as his car will be the weight of a fag packet with atleast the power of his yeti ontop of what my car has.

He doesn't want to A ) make less experienced members feel like there being bullied out of the way and B ) put other members off having a go on a "safe(er)" track session.

Btw there was a session yesterday where they let out somewhere between 60 and 70 cars together

To be honest I'm a complete new comer to this track day malarkey. And from looking at this topic and everyones posts and thoughts on the day I wouldn't be worried in the slightest. Everyone seems like a great bunch and it brings everyone together for fun. I'd not be anymore nervous than I would be driving on the m25 with some of the idiots I see out there. And I'd find it very hard to miss a blisteringly fast red yeti behind me. And the citygo with more go would be past me before I'd even had a chance to panic about it.

I'm getting some that aid moving to the right next

Session 2 first, because the files for the first session I couldn't find.

They were dated several months ago and 10pm on the camera! :D Also, not sure why it's small....

Is it cold where you are  :giggle:

I'm not bothered how its fixed next time.....I just want to get out there again!

I appreciate that. Just didn't want any potential newcomers being put off :)

Shush you,

Or I'll show everyone the traffic jam behind you in session one thats rendering now.

Or the only moment in both my vids when I spoke, to say "oh ****, I don't want to be here" when passing you like the amateur I am.

Sorry about that. Too much understeer in my Michelins.

We can probably sort April 2014 out with people who have only been on at least once before.

I will only start a thread when the dates are released for 2014. Usually toward end of this year.

My recording of session one:

You can definitely see how your confidence has increased as you've done more Brisky days.

Session One as uploaded overnight.

9.30 for traffic jam, 11 something for my not so proudest moment.

Oh, and happy April fools say apparently. :D

Just zipped together all the files for the front facing camera.  Happy enough with a best lap of 1.25 and a top GPS speed approaching Quarry of 120mph. :D

That's quite interesting because it shows the differences (strengths and weaknesses) between two completely different vehicles.

My lack of pace on the straights (200bhp and 1450kg) but the extra traction of 4x4 and the ability to get on the power earlier does show.

Having checked the footage just now I did 7 laps in both sessions, out of the 14 laps I had 5 laps of 1:29.

Four seconds per lap slower than your firebreathing Fabia.

My best top speed on the same straight was only 102mph, 18mph slower in the aerodynamically barn like Yeti. :giggle:

Also interesting that by going out in the morning we got more track time.

I usually get 5 laps or 6 if driving a powerful car like a nutter (in the public sessions), rather than 7.

And both sessions were still cut short ;)

Jason, did you upload the video from session 1 ?

I didn't bother with session 1 as I spent longer fighting for grip and worrying about my brakes. Wasn't worth uploading.

:(

Can't guarantee I can do it but I'd be interested next year. How much of a gap was there between sessions? Enough for brakes to cool down? That I've found is the cars main weak point.
