Subaru Impreza STi 2006...?

Featured Replies

Well....

Desktopmachine.com shows so....

I think it looks pretty damn sweet!

I didn't want to like it, but after seeing the pics, I agree with you, Mil!

Chris

You can tell it was designed by the guy from Alfa Romeo!!

looks very nice, probably the bet one yet i think.

but why oh why do they stick with the bonnet scoop? the rally team hate it as it slows the car down due to drag. they should just stick the intercooler at the front and ditch the scoop

Perhaps they should rename it Scoopy rather than Scooby

Looks sweet, not a clue how much mpg it will do but then if you can afford to run it ;)

i think they do about 1 gpm once tuned and driven swiftly :P

 - they sure look good doing it though ;)

The really cool thing is when you see a Scoob in the US - and they smoke most sports cars there with an engine that's about half the cubic capacity or less.

Strangely, it's not like you cant get the quality of fuel or anything, I'm guessing the real reason in the US for low tuning is just coz peeps want big V8s and a massively overweight car. Interesting ;)

I thought the new one is supposed to be a hatchback?

I don't think it's that drastic to be honest, it looks to be very much the same body shell with a revised front end and another spoiler on the back.

There were some shots of a hatchback in AutoExpress a few months back.

Suspect it would be in the region of 18-30mpg for normal road driving and probably single figures for silly speeds and on track :D

And the Scooby losing the scoop would be like Skoda losing green brake calipers, and Porsche moving the engine forward on a 911. ;) It's like their trade mark ;)

Chris

ewwwww errrrrr. I'm with chris I really didn't think I'd like it when I first saw it's nose but now looking at it, it looks very sweet.

No must not test drive one!!

Looks like a Seat Leon from the front. Sort of.

Not sure about the roof spoiler on back, looks a bit chavvy, can't think as it would be much use seeing as there's a massive boot spoiler three feet further back anyway...

If instead of blue with gold wheels it was red with white wheels.....Mitsubishi Evolution.

Still like it though.Time for something more exciting in the colour scheme though.Ditch the blinging gold wheels.Old hat now.

Sorry, I went to desktopmachine.com and erm, got distracted by a button along the top.

i like the blue with gold wheels myself but not keen on the scoop.

not sure on the new spoiler either
