My name's Craig and I've had my mk1 Fabia Estate for just over a year, having rescued it from near death and now I have a beautiful little car on my hands.

Just today I lowered it 35mm on some Apex sport springs to stop some body roll, and it's just incredible. And seeing as I've moved away from keeping it stock, I thought I better get involved with this forum as things could get serious.

Anybody who's played with their estate, give us a shout!

I was thinking about blacking out the chrome bits on my headlights, but being dark green, I think the chrome of the grille and headlights work well.

Also Hi to all from me, another Fabia Combi owner. Never thought I'd buy a Skoda, bought it at Christmas and love the little thing.

I found this site totally by accident looking to see if I could fit beetle alloy wheels that I was offered. Surprisingly I didn't find a pic of a fabby with these fitted (unless I was looking in the wrong place). Will post one as soon as I figure out how to

Nice find! I was thinking about what to do next, whether to go tints or wheels to match the stiffened, lowered springs. But where did you find the wheels?

The wheels are off a 2006 VW Beetle, that my mate's wife traded in for a Ford Kuga. She sold it on winter tyres with steel wheels, so they were lying around in their garage. Note that in the pics it's on 205/55/16's, not the ideal rubber for the fabby, but standard for the beetle. I have since shod them with lower profiles and put some 10mm spacers on the rear.

The pics I uploaded to the gallery, then attached them here. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be done, but it works.

Ahhh maaan, don't tell me it's a 1.9tdi?! I would kill for one When I bought my combi it was a right mess, but I've brought it back up to scratch and totally fallen in love with it. As a student though, I don't have the money to do crazy stuff to it, although here it is with tame sport suspension (which has made the handling unreal).

Compared to the stock ride height.

I had an sdi originally.. loved it and ran it for 2 years with no probs.. but the 1.9tdi (100bhp) came up at a good price with heated seats/ a/c + elec windows front + back..

Since then if thrown a load of £££ at it lol.. along with the leather seats.. list of different wheels + air suspension iv also dropped a 130tdi (ASZ) engine in with a Garrett hybrid turbo and custom hard piped FMIC.

That is a hell of a commitment! The colour scheme is beautiful, how long did it decide to go for that? And, I've just noticed, where are the side repeaters?

The side repeaters have been smoothed out.. was guna get sum US spec orange side markers but might not bother..

I work at VW and new i wanted that colour as soon as i saw the Mk6 Golf GTI/GTDs in that colour (Carbon Grey).. iv got another set of wheels for it which will be show wheels when iv built them up.. they are staggered BBS RC041/ RC042 splits with polished lips + centre nuts with gold centres and red + gold BBS badges.. as soon as there all built up ill get sum pics up in my build thread

Well, your Fabia is very fortunate to have an owner like you :p Have you got a museum of wheels or do you always sell them on? Taking the inspiration from this thread alone I want to start working on my car now, but it'll be another couple of years until I can put money towards the project :'(
