Just for the record, my Rapid version is the 1.2 TSI 105HP Elegance with Hill Hold. Very smooth. The gasoline choice was just because we don't use the car so much, almost just the weekends or so.

Hill hold is amazing its on my golf , yeah if you don't do enough miles petrol is the best option , I bet its white rapid because of your temp ? , I love Portugal we go to stay in alvor

You were almost right:) Actually its my parents car (I don't have enough money) but I'll be its usual driver anyway. And yes, if the car was 100% mine I would have chosen white. I suggested it, but they preferred the black version. It's not bad either. White would feel fresher, more adapted, then, to Portugal's climate

The VW Hill Hold seems pretty good. I've got an uncle with the new Ford Focus with HH, and it actually holds back a little when I accelerate. But Skoda's HH is very very smooth

Yeah, it feels a little "heavy". But, you know, black is more subtle and discrete, and as they paid for the car (and a few extra Euros for the colour), their opinion it's heavier:) However, it seems like this year will be a very atypical summer, with less sun and heat.
