Hi all,

New here, gonna be hopefully having a felicia pickup 1.9 SDI and just wondering what engine conversions you would recommend or if anybody has done any on here?. im looking for something that will preferably be a petrol conversion ( if thats possible on one of these) or a turbo diesel. ive heard that focus zetec, golf gti, 1.8t and aaz lumps are fairly simple to drop in.

any help appreciated

AAZ would be relatively simple as its pretty much the same engine with a turbo. The rest of the engines you mention defo wouldn't be fairly simple. There is a few threads on here regarding engine swaps/tdi conversions. There is a giant thread on installing a 1.8t in a felicia.

If you are planning on putting a petrol engine in there, buy a pickup that is a petrol engine to start with.

Was really hoping I could do the 1.8t, anyone done that on a diesel before?

The 1.8t is a very complex and expensive conversion in a petrol felicia so in a diesel is just alot more hassle and money.

Any other conversions you could recommend? I also heard the 2.0 8 valve gti goes in relatively easily?

On a petrol the only easy one that comes to mind is the 1.4 16v 100bhp afh engine
