  • Add a folder to the root folder called branddevice.reg and when you unplug and it restarts you can select make again

  • What does the "Think Blue Trainer" do?

Tells you how economically you are driving... the more blue rings the better - gear shifts and general fuel economy.

January '21... just got a second hand one of these for my wife's Citigo but it was showing the VW branding which i managed to clear by doing the following:

* Connect to PC via USB cable - NAVIGON hard-drive appears - open this.

* Create a simple text file in the root and rename it branddevice.reg

(make sure you're computer is showing file extensions or else you might actually make a file called branddevice.reg.txt which probably won't work.)

* Reboot! It should then ask you to connect the device to your car whereupon it picks up the make and model automatically and asks a few other setup questions.

The UserSettingsDevMode.default file didn't exist on this device.
