Just a quick bump as I just put in my official holiday request for this (not that it is likely to be rejected :D)

Getting close now!

Are we all sorted for our group booking for the instructor?

I have all the names of who would like tuition, I also have three people paid up too, might be worth taking money to Castle Coombe to pay for those who haven't yet, also think about pay pal payment as I have paid for the instructor already.

Really looking forward to this and I have a bit of pressure on as the Golf still needs a few bits sorting out, namely dash lights! The Fabia might even make its final track appearance if the Golf doesn't want to play ball.

Lol! Are you the guy who's often seen tearing up Angelsey circuit in a 300 bhp rover 200? Quick car !

If he is mr rooney, I would say the Big Fat Nissan has some competition  :wonder:

It might be sold in the next few days...

Although if they can make a 200 go, stop and corner like that fair play to them.

What's your fallback car Richard? :)

What's your fallback car Richard? :)

I don't have one.

You are welcome to have a thrash in the Golf.

Thanks James, but I don't drive other peoples cars as I only have one way of driving on track and it's not particulary car friendly.

that is why I have the golf as the Fabia is too new to muller.  Saying that though, the Golf will need some tweeking as the suspension is all new and the ARB's might need adjusting. All good fun though.

Seriously, if you are stuck for a car we could blag a demonstrator from Middlehurst Nissan, as long as you are interested in buying one   honest governor.

Buy a megane Richard, in a nice yellow colour ;)

Or an R26R :p

But they are French Josh... and they eat front tyres. ;)

Plenty of nice stuff out there Richard, just a matter of what to get, the Caterham would certainly have neck snapping acceleration but would it corner like a GT35R?  Probably not, it would be good to learn a new driving style though.

Any news on the Citi Go?

I think after a car like the GT-R, which was tweaked to make it better, you need something completely different.

Something more full on, higher feeling of speed at lower speeds and less driver aids.

Citigo is moving slowly, still racing season.

Give it a month and work will speed up.Don't think about it much now, it'll not be using until Spring 2014 anyway as we've missed all the events this year already.

Time will tell, I guess we will see the Yeti in Cheshire?

OK, so if you don't have a fallback car, which car will be getting some abuse then? :D

You still have an SE vRS don't you?

Mr Rooney, your not the guy with a blue/grey Ibiza are you?

And a 600bhp GTR is a bit of of my tubs reach on a proper track, I can keep up with a stock one running sticky rubber, but that one sounds a bit quicker!
