cold start not running smooth

I have a octavia 1.4 tsi DSG 59 plate 32000ish miles

When starting from cold the car goes above 1000 rpm, on idle it sound like it is misfiring, when pulling away the car does not drive smoothly, only way I can describe is the car learches and hesitates, the gear between 2nd and 3rd rev for ages then drops in 3rd, after about 10 - 15 seconds the revs drop and the drives smooth. After that no others issue, until next cold start.

My wife has experienced same issue.

Any help I would be great full is vehicle is on a skoda 3RD year extended warranty.
