After your attempt at 'pious', I'm not sure now if you meant to do that or if it's just bad spelling  :D

Believe it or not Bryan, we all got a "lecture" recently from the "Gods on high" on how we aren't allowed to use that version of the name and must always use the full and proper company title.................................yeah right!

I seem to remember an advert some years ago that was short lived. The computer manufacturer Wang came out with an ad that said "Wang Cares".

Yes, I worked for Wang then and we were all Wangsters.

I am surprised that the Kia Soul has never been commented on.

Because it would criminal for someone who hasn't seen one to then go and google what it looks like.

T3 or LB's?

Thank God for plain line!!

Just got back from Tesco to find parked next door a visitor in a Renault Captur, what a mess, it's some kind of metallic bronze with grey and silver bits, it is awful. Also there is no way it can be compared with a Yeti, looking at this one it reminds me of a Jellybean, I really don't know what Renault are aiming this thing at, but it won't bother Skoda.

There's a new Clio and a Captur parked nose to nose in the Sainsburys car park over the road from my office today (a local Renault dealer is obviously renting the spaces - the cars are covered in promotional stickers).  To me it looks uncannily like they "designed" the Captur by taking a photo of the new Clio and stretching it by ~10% in the vertical direction in Photoshop.

At least they managed to keep the wheels circular...

Sorry all (perhaps we should have taken this off forum). But since you ask Llanigraham they were all booked T3s on a nightshift. They had taken most of my railway off me and the ECS's hadn't all been dealt with either!

Oops! There we go again - sorry all O:-)

The Captur is based on the Clio, that's maybe how it looks like a stretched one, and the reason why you can't compare it with the Yeti.

Surely one can (and lots of people do) compare anything with anything?

I tried a Jaguar XF 3.0S before getting my second Yeti, and made a comparison between the two. Jag: more vrooom, more plush, more money. Yeti: more cheap, more ground clearance, more (useful) boot. Ta-da!

Can I say that to my local Audi when I request a test drive in an RS6 estate?

"I just want to compare how goes against the Octavia CR TDi"

Very convincing  :)

Worth a go. I was completely up front with the chap - I was seriously considering the XF (also a C-class estate and the Evoque). The Infiniti I tried for giggles.
