Non IT guy here. How do you screen grab the radio channel logos?

You couldn't write a little how to could you? Or is it explained in the manual?

Thanks

You only need to load them once, they must live on some internal memory after that. The picture I took is without an SD card in the slot.

Oh even better, car just gets better haha

Hello, thanks for the response.

Grabbing the logos was probably a simple thing to do, as is transferring them to an SD card, but from serial 4 down is the really important information that you have provided.

As you can see, others have appreciated your post as well.

How much do the logos weigh though?

Anything from a few kb to Mb if you go for HD (which is a bit pointless).

Not much, they are tiny, only a few kb. I'll get the exact size later on today.

Know what pixel dimensions they need to be? Does it matter, does the system crop them itself? Also can you use PNG as well as JPG?

What sized SD card is most compatible with this system?

Car looks really great carnt wait for mine its more or less the same spec as yours.....

I don't think pixel count make that much of a difference, the car sorted them for me.

Update:

Have just been to fill the car up.

The car took 44.25 litres to fill, and I'd covered 530 miles meaning it did 54.45 mpg. Not bad for it's first couple of hundred miles. Maxidot read 55.7mpg so it's a little optimistic but not overly so. Very impressed seeing as it's only going to get better.

Here's a nice little feature aswell, screen-grab some radio station icons, pop them on an SD card, shove it in the car and this is what you get:

Apoligies for the poor radio station choice, there's some better ones on the next page, just haven't bothered putting them to the front yet!

Just out of interest is that Bolero or Amunsden?

*Guessing* Bolero as there's no 'nav' button?
