Hi everyone, new round here and first time Skoda owner. Placed an order yesterday for the petrol manual VRS hatch, black pack, Columbus, canton, 'sunset' glass, mdi interface and space saver wheel in......... Rallye Green!

Had to laugh as the salesman asked me every 5 minutes if I was absolutely sure about the green..... I think I am I know it's a bit of an acquired taste but it'll be 'noticeable' at least!

Perfect choice! It's the colour that would tempt me if I was buying a vRS.

It is personal choice and preference.

 

I like the green, it is nice on the hatch.

 

BTW I have a green colour car at the moment and have ordered the meteor grey vrs estate. What is your estimated delivery date? I was told 12 weeks but nothing been confirmed.

Nice to hear it's not just me that likes it. My sprogs have already christened it the 'Hulk Car'!

I'd happily go green, it's my favourite colour.

It's good to see some members being a tad adventurous, the Green along with the Grey (and probably Yellow) are not going to be to everyones taste but as has been said many, many times before, this world would be boring if we all liked the same thing.

My concern would be that you have gone for it but are not sure.

 

When I went for yellow a few people tried to talk me out of it, but I had confidence it was what I really wanted... and it looked great.

Rallye Green is currently unique to the vRS (I think) and so may well become the new Race Blue in that it will be unique.

The trouble with both colours IMO is they're too loud and attention grabbing, I prefer my cars to be subtle. I do like race blue though, just not for me.

I would say that though, as I've ordered a green vrs hatch too!

I was tempted but I didn't think that I could live with it for 3 years & was concerned about the resale value. Blue is generally a popular choice.

Also it sticks out like a sore thumb.

I would love to have mine in green, but it's only available on the VRS and I wanted 4-wheel drive.  I saw a green hatchback demonstrator (presumably the VRS) driving around Grimsby last week, and it looked wonderful!

The dealer said the same when I ordered my mk2 in white. Made me doubt it but don't regret it one bit.
